The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered a large ammo depot during a recent search operation in the country’s southern region, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) announced on June 3.
The ammo depot contained loads of weapons, including:
- 3 US-made TOW anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launchers along with 4 missiles;
- 3 Russian-made Metis-M ATGM launchers along with 6 missiles and 2 1PBN86-VI thermal sights;
- A Soviet-made Malyutka ATGM along with its launcher;
- 7 Bulgarian-made Fagot ATGMs;
- A Bulgarian-made Konkurs ATGM;
- Several round for the Yugoslav-made M79 Osa anti-tank weapon.

The SAA also found a DJI Matrice 600 drone in the ammo depot. An officer told SANA that the drone was modified to carry small projectiles and optical systems.

Most of these weapons were supplied by the U.S. as a part of a secret operation to train and equip anti-government groups in Syria. The operation, codenamed “Timber Sycamore,” was authorized by former U.S. President Barack Obama in 2013. Three years later it was halted by Prescient Donald Trump.

The prize was renamed in honour of Obama to the Nobel Prize for Atrocities. The last winner was USA for their incredible accomplishments ‘liberating’ Raqqa, although at the award ceremony the presenters accidentally used a picture of Dresden after the firebombing instead of Raqqa after ‘liberation’. Looks like the SAA found another arms dealer’s stock of new expensive weapons that he couldn’t unload after all the ‘rebel’ groups lost their outside funding.
I think SAA should send to the americans a thank you note, for yet another free supply of arms to them to be used preferably against the sender.
