On December 4, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered several weapons caches during a search operation in the outskirt of the newly-liberated city of Daraa, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The weapons caches contained a Bulgarian-made Fagot anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launcher along with two missiles, a Chinese-made HJ-8 Red Arrow ATGM, a Soviet-made RPG-29 anti-tank weapons along with several rounds, an Egyptian-made Sakr 122mm cluster rocket and a mini drone.

A day later, the SAA uncovered another weapons cache which was buried underground near the Nasib border crossing, 11km southeast of Daraa. The cache included dozens of RPG-7 rounds and mortar rounds along with other military equipment.

Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters in Daraa surrendered to Damascus government forces earlier this year following a short battle. While these fighters joined the reconciliation process and handed over their weapons to the SAA, many radical militants opted to withdraw and hid their weapons in order to use them in future terrorist attacks.

Crap. Many big ammo explosions by SAA.

I know its difficult, but a great help would be, they divided into smaller depots. Explosions would be smaller as well as it would not be all or none.

Self ignition is dangerous for many products. Silos burning for months is one. We have the same for hay in big quantities. They have to be divided even it cheeper to put them in one very, vey big one.

But nice catches of those 2 depots. I am not for Assads as all and now and then hope they will delfdetonate more.

But from a safety matter, they should divide…

You never handled ammunition i guess? Packed ammunition can handle alot of beatings, and just so you know it: Ammunition is meant to be used in batlle and being tossed around in mud and water.

And if you think that is rough handling they show in the video, then you never watched how NATO handles ammunition when the cameraes are turned off.

Bulgarian Fagot anti tank missile – good name maybe SAA should use it on Isis.

You can call me Al

I know, it always makes me laugh anyway.

now that the tide has turned….the SAA should thank the EU and all NATO states for providing all shorts of high tech and expensive weapons to ISIS, since they now possess them. each day they discover weapons worth millins of $. Furthermore as AJ said below…SAA should return them to ISIS,HTS whatever……launch them to be exact!!
