According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the underground weapons cache, located near the al-Rahba citadel, was uncovered thanks to information provided by the locals.

“The terrorists had placed dust and waste above it [the weapons cache] to camouflage the site, which is a dumpster,” the SANA’s reporter in Deir Ezzor said, and noted: “combing and research operations continues with the support of engineer units in the SAA to clean the site of the terrorists’ remnants.”

Last month, the SAA uncovered two ISIS weapons workshops during search operations in southern Raqqa and eastern Deir Ezzor. The army also found a large hideout of the terrorist group’s cells near the town of al-Quriyah in southern Deir Ezzor.

Despite these intense operations by the SAA, ISIS cells are still active in southern Deir Ezzor. The situation will not likely improve, unless the army develop its operations to cover the nearby Homs desert.

Well done Syria. Liberate the area to be secured.

It is well those kind of stocks are found and removed. It will hamper an upsurge of IS.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

All those tanks and heavy equipment Isis took from the SAA which hasn’t been recovered after the fighting or wasn’t destroyed during the fighting must still be out there somewhere, some really big deep holes must have been dug to hide them.
