The government forces’ advance was supported by air strikes of the Syrian Arab Air Force. Pro-government forces say that a large number of militants of Jabhat al-Nusra militants, including their commander Ahmad Abdu Razaq al-Henesh, were killed in the air raids in the province.
Please can we not go back to this, where we’d hear about the SAA capturing ‘points or ‘hills’ while the enemy take a slew of villages.
