The Syrian army’s Tiger Forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have re-entered the strategic town of Ma’an in the northern part of Syrian Hama province. The town was controlled by the joint forces of Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra or al-Nusra Front), Ahrar al-Sham and other ‘moderate opposition’ groups.
Some pro-government sources say that Ma’an has been fully recaptured by the Tiger Forces and the NDF.
The operation was led by Maj General Suheil Al Hassan and supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Air Force.
