On June 16, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) resumed their military operation in the southern al-Hasakah countryside and captured the village of Tell al-Jabir, which is located 4km west of the town of Dashisha located near the Syrian-Iraqi border, according to the Kurdish Hawar News Agency (ANHA).
Kurdish sources reported that SDF fighters continued their advance after securing Tell al-Jabir and clashed with ISIS around the Ab Musab gas station only 3km west of Dashisha, which is the main target of US-backed forces. Reportedly, several fighters of ISIS were killed during the clashes.
The US-led coalition said that French artillery and warplanes of the French Air Force (FAF) supported the SDF operation in the southern al-Hasakah countryside and targeted several positions and vehicles of ISIS around and inside Dashisha.
During the last three days, the bad weather forced the SDF to pause its advance towards Dashisha. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), ISIS fighters took advantage of this situation and launched a series of counter attacks against the US-backed forces, but failed to recapture any position.
The US-led coalition and the SDF are clearly planning to besiege the remaining fighters of ISIS inside Dashisha and than push them out of the town, as they had repeatedly done during previous battles.

Just Keep Pretending that you are Fighting ISIS….Way to Go! No One believes your Crap anymore…Continue on your Road to make the West hated… just according to Your Evil Plansss…
It’s too bad reality doesn’t fit the conspiracy theories you believe in.
The Theory is the Conspiracy… Free Men should think Outside the Box…you should know that right?
You confuse imaginary conspiracy theories with reality on the ground. The forces of the Syrian Kurds and local tribes are gradually occupying all of eastern Syria from ISIS with the assistance of the Arab / Western coalition and Iraq, apparently in accordance with this agreement between Russia / USA / Turkey on the issue.
I can believe whatever I want….situations change… on a daily basis… my conclusions will be drawn in a couple of years.. not in Days… Theories are there to keep an open mind… the “Truth” of the MSM is Bullshit too..if you were there on the Ground and were an Honourable Man speakin’ Truth, I’d believe you…
You are in a box having no windows and no doors. The bad air in there might be from Yourself too.
Even muslims in the dry land clean themselves once a weak.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I just Bloody pissed my Pantsss just a second lemme get sone Clean underpants
He believes it because he wants it to be true…
No one outside this site believes your nonsense. Ask some truly random people what they think of your opinion and see if you get anything besides weird looks and aggressive counterarguments.
I don’t Believe your Nonsense in here….and the more certain people make remarks like You… the more I start believing in the shit I’m saying…
So the many attacks at Hasaka and the many dead there has been fictive too and just dancing learned from PKK in Turkey :)
Although it doesn’t show up in the news as often it does appear that western air and artillery support consistently and decisively tips the scales against ISIS. Allowing a steady series of offensives.
Yes, they are digged well as ISIS are experts in. ISIS mainly only can be hit, when troops on the ground make them come up and fight.
They have better intel so know where they’re at inside the villages and towns along with scattered hamlets out in the boondocks.
They also can just flatten places, took the marines 6 months to flatten raqqa, hey it works right?
Easy to know where they are when they work for the same boss
Does anyone here (except for the hasbara trolls) believe that the YPG is actually fighting ISIS, or anyone else for that matter?
Yes, they are actually fighting them. ISIS isn’t needed anymore by its sponsors. Neither in Iraq nor in Syria. The Kurds are still a card the West can play against Turkey and the Asad junta.
