The Syrian Democratic Forces, supported by the US-led coalition airpower, have been making another attempt to enter and intrench in the urban areas of the ISIS-controlled city of Manbij in Aleppo province.
On June 13, SDF units, supported by US warplanes, continued advances in the direction of National Hospital in the western part of Manbij and entered the city’s urban area from the south.
Separately, coalition air strikes targeted ISIS positions in the southwestern part of the city, destroyed an ISIS vehicle in the eastern part and targeted an ISIS tactical unit and a vehicle near Ar Rus.
