On Friday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the local National Defense Forces (NDF) repelled a wide-scale attack of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Hadar town north of the Golan Heights.
Hadar is one of the biggest Druze towns in southern Syria.
Hay’at Tahrir al-Sgham (HTS) and its allies launched their military operation to break the SAA siege on Beit Jinn town in the Western Ghouta region and advanced along the separation line between Syrian and Israeli forces. HTS fighters captured many position south and southwest of Hadar town immediately.
However, the SAA and the NDF quickly launched a counter-attack and recaptured almost all positions including Qurs al-Nafla Hill, according to local sources from Hadar town. However, the al-Hurah position northeast of Hadar is still under HTS control.
During the attack, HTS targeted the northern district of Hadar town with two VBIEDs. According to local sources, over 23 civilians were killed or injured in the VBIEDs attack.
Syrian pro-government sources said that 10 fighters of the NDF were killed while they were repelling HTS attack. HTS lost at least 8 fighters including Sael Hassan al-Aiytah, a commander of this operation.
As a result of the attack, hundreds of Druze civilians in the Israeli-held Druze villages in the Golan Heights protested against the Israeli support for HTS and the FSA in Syria. The protestors accused Israel of supporting the ongoing attack on Hadar town. The Israeli Army evacuated several injured HTS fighters to hospitals inside Israel.

The protestors even attempted to cross into Syria to aid the local NDF fighters in Hadar town. However, the Israeli Army blocked the way and fired shots in the air to force the protestors to retreat.
The Lebanese al-Manar TV channel reported that several Druze protestors were injured, and even some killed by the Israeli Army while they were trying to cross into Syria. This report is yet to be confirmed.
From its side, Major Avichay Adraee spokesperson of the Israel Army denied that Israel supported the HTS attack on Hadar town. Major Adraee stressed that the Israeli Army is committed to protect Syrian Druze in Hadar town.
“The Defense Force [Israeli Army] is ready to support the town’s [Hadar] locals, and will forbid harming them or occupying the town due to its commitment towards the Druze sect,” Major Adraee said on Twitter.

However, local activists from Hadar confirmed that the Israeli Army played a key role in the HTS attack on Hadar town. According to the activists, the HTS fighters and two VBIEDs reached Hadar through the Separation of Forces Line that’s now controlled only by the Israeli Army.
The local activists even published photos that shows HTS fighters hiding right under the Israeli Army fortification on the Separation of Forces Line after the attack failed.
The Israeli support to the FSA and HTS was confirmed back on September 9, when 107mm rockets supplied by Israel were spotted with an FSA group in southern Syria.
Pro-government sources speculated that Israel could support the recent HTS attack to intervene in southern Syria later under the excuse of protecting Syrian Druze in Hadar town and other areas.

SAA needs to finish Eastern part of Syria. Than Idlib province and mean time Assad should obtain it’s own Air Defense System such as S-400, Su-30 and MID-29 and vereda manpad air defense system and use the time during Idlib advances to gain experience on those weapons. Than SAA could take on IDF and golan heights

I was and am still horrified at the treatment of the jews by the Nazis in WWII. The people doing these evil deeds are not the people that suffered so much, yet I find it hard to understand how they, as a people can do such evil things after all the evil that had been done to their ancestors. I find that hard to swallow as well, being (as far as I can tell) part-jew myself. It is clear that the zionists had the power to evacuate most jews from germany prior to wwii but decided not to, so they are complicit in the atrocities that did occur. But they’re not the only people who have a history of betrayal. And even worse, this makes goy who isn’t completely fast asleep very distrustful of any jew. And that, I fear, is part of the plot.
You should read an excellent book The Devil’s Chessboard’ by David Talbot. It shows the true evil and corruption that was formed under Pres. Roosevelt’s nose by the Dullas brothers. Many of the top Nazis were transported to US and S. America, instead of being hung, like they should’ve been. I also know many other people suffered under the Nazis in those camps: anyone who wasn’t ‘Arian’ enough, Gypsies, Poles, Gays, Political enemies; also Russia lost about 27 million people in their fight against these demons. As a kid I was taught that the US alone had won the war! No one else was ever mentioned, and being a kid, I didn’t question what I was told. When I matured and started reading world news, I became aware of all the lies I’d been fed as a kid. I began to abhor what my government had become. I watch the Russian May 9th celebrations every year and will never forget the first parade I saw where people brought pictures of their relatives that had been killed during the war – even Putin himself marched with a picture of his dad. That really hit me as to how much these brave Russian people had suffered.
As to your last sentence, Who benefits from the war in Syria? America wanted to put a gas pipeline from Qatar through Syria to Israel and Europe. Assad said ‘no’. He instantly went from being an American ally to a dictator who must be destroyed! Thankfully, after several years of dealing with the terrorists that US had created through the vacuum left in Iraq, he asked Russia for help. US is still building bases in Syria, giving coordinates to terrorists, killing Syrian soldiers, flyng terrorists from one area to another in Syria and doing whatever they can to stymie Russia’s Iran’s and Syrian success. Until the US people wake up (which is hard to do, since they are fed the pablum of MSM daily) things won’t change except by 2 ways: 1: WWIII, or 2: The end of the dollar as the reserve currency. The latter is happening at a every-quickening pace with more and more countries wanting to do business in their own or China’s Yuan as currency. We should all pray that the former (1) doesn’t happen, but this scenery is quickly approaching – war with either N. Korea, Iran, Russia or China. The US thinks they are omnipotent and can take on all of them – maybe even at the same time! I wonder what koolaid they’re drinking? Please keep posting. That is very thought-provoking. This issue of demonizing the nazis – haven’t made my mind up yet. History being written by the victors an’ all. There are also tales of those “victorious” russians committing massive atrocities against German civilians (e.g. mass rape) after the war. Solzhenitzyn has some interesting things to say about the role of the bolsheviks and who they exterminated. The russians committed atrocities in poland which they later (and for a long time) blamed on the germans. The Danes used german prisoners in contravention of the Geneva Convention to clear minefields after the war. Consensus, as close as I can make it, is there are no heroes in war, and no victors.
Sad to say, rape was a very common occurrence during the war. I read a book written by a German woman and her family who lived through the war. They had to choose who their protector would be – would it be the Germans or the Russians? Women had to make this choice because if they didn’t choose someone to help protect them, they’d be fair game for any guy that came along. They tried to select someone who had some influence on the other men. The Russian man she selected was good to her and her family – would bring them all food, cigarettes, and protected them when they were in danger. She stated too, that they had been totally unaware of the death camps until it came out in the end. It was a very interesting book that let one see into the minds of some ordinary German people living through this nightmare that they unknowingly had been part of.
Nothing is ever totally white or black. There’s always a rotten apple in the barrel that makes it hard for anyone else of that same race, ethnicity or sex. I’m not familiar with the Poles/Russians during the war, but will try to learn more about it. People act differently during war time – there’s a sense of ‘freedom’ to act out in ways that they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to. That’s why an alcoholic will say ‘the booze made me do it’. Like the old saying, Civility is a thin veneer – once society breaks down (as in war times) the base instincts and hidden darkness comes to the forefront. Sad but true. I’ve read and re-read Elie Wiesel’s books on the holocaust. I’ve cried many times over what these poor people suffered and died from. Thank you, John. Were you aware of the bombing of the US Liberty? It was a US technical research ship posted in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea during the 6 day war in 1967. The Israelis were fighting Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq at the time. This ship, the USS Liberty was flying the American flag and Israel knew it was there. On this bright, sunny day the crewmen were relaxing, some sunning themselves on the deck. They saw Israeli planes flying over and waved to them. Sometime later, the ship was torpedoed and then strafed by the Israeli jets. This attack went on for some time, killing 34 men and wounding 171. As the men tried to jump over the side into the water, the Israelis killed them. This false flag attack was supposed to kill everyone on the boat. They would then destroy the boat and blame the Egyptians. The Israelis had planned on ordering the US to nuke Egypt, as they would be blamed by Israel for the attack. But fortunately, there were survivors. The US ships in the area were contacted, but refused to come to their aid until some time later. A Russian ship in the area offered assistance, but was declined by the commander of the ship. The Israelis then had the nerve to fly over again, and ask if they needed assistance! The commander told them to go F..k themselves. This false flag attack was totally covered up. The sailors were forbidden from EVER discussing the attack with anyone. Medals were given out in secret, to the survivors, and several books were written about it later, by the surviving men. Israel was eventually forced to pay some millions in recompense to the families of the slain crewmen. This was in 1967 – much more influence by AIPAC lobbying has been stamped into our foreign policy. We’ve been fighting Israeli wars ever since in Iraq, Syria and anywhere else the Israelis are too cowardly to fight on their own. Greetings, Muriel. Always nice to hear from you. Yes, I am aware of what the Israelis did to the US Liberty and how the corrupted, cowardly government of the US covered it up–well, almost. If you see, which I do not recommend, how cattle are slaughtered to produce kosher meats, you will be appalled. Only those with a cruel mindset or none at all can end an animals life in this fashion. Believe me, it is not a nice thing to watch. Their Mafia, too, is known for its creativity in torture, extortion, and murder of its victims. Just some years ago, a Palestinian family of five resting on a beach was blown apart by an Israeli naval shell. They were slaughtered in that one shot for target practice, and they, as far as I know, got away with it, just like all other crimes they commit on a daily basis. This is the reason that I refer to the US as-the USI . . . the United States of Israel. It is not a label without foundation. My book, The Crucifixion of Palestine is not yet on Amazon. I have some revisions to make but in a week or so, I hope it is available. And, slightly off topic: I was hit with severe cancer a couple of years ago. No, never any peace. My husband and I have been reading some good books – he’s currently reading ‘the killing of William Browder’ by Alexander Kraimer. What an excellent book! He’s been reading parts of it to me about many things in Russian as well as US history that they have shared. Russia actively supported the US during their travals with the Brits and France after the declaration and during the civil war. I can’t wait to get to read it myself.
