Syrian government forces have reportedly established control of the Yarmouk refugee camp in southern Damascus after the ISIS members’ withdrawal from the area.

According to pro-government sources, government troops are now in full control of Yarmouk and al-Hajar al-Aswad, but some ISIS members still remain in the districts of Taqadam and Tadamon.

The situation is developing.

ISIS WITHDRAW TO REGROUP

Julian Clegg

Please look at the map. Not much room left for regrouping.

neil barron

They never had a strategy that’s not what their about. Everything and anything evil is their end game. Did they ever rebuild or improve anything after all these years of control?

Rob

ISIS withdrawal to the pocket of Homs/Deir Ezzor where they will be a great threat to the rest of Syria because the US, UK, France and Israeli supply will be continue to the ISIS in that pocket.

Julian Clegg

The report says no such thing. Daesh/IS in Damascus are surrounded. They can only move to another region if the government army lets them, which seems unlikely.

You can call me Al

This pocket they move to is on the West of the Euphrates isn’t it ?, how can he US vermin resupply them ?.

Rob

The pocket is 27 km wide and 93 km in length. There is no air defence system to lock SAM on the enemy helicopters. The Pantsir-S ADM system can also work there.

You can call me Al

No if it is where I assume it is, the S-300s are there in DZ.

Rob

I am not sure.

You can call me Al

Well only one thing for it, let’s have a beer and see….. you could of course be right and then I shall admit I was wrong ad apologise.

Rob

S-300 is there to defend the city not the desert.

You can call me Al

The range of the S-300 is – https://www.rbth.com/economics/2013/06/01/s-300_system-to-air_missile_system_natos_worst_nightmare_25661

150 KM, take the area, move forwards, set them up, repeat scenario, “Hello Iraqi”, please walk over the border for a beer or cup of tea.

You can call me Al

Not true, the S-300 / 400 is to protect Russian citizens + Russian hardware.

Oscar Silva Martinez

I think they should send the Tiger forces right away to clear off that pocket once and for all

Ray Douglas

Naw, its all desert with very few civilians so it will be easier to bomb them without worrying about killing innocents. The SAA and RUAF will be able to pick them off.

Rob

This is a good news. Just Taqadam and Tadamon left. That is just a one day job.

Rob

A large convoy of buses left Yarmouk Camp last night. The convoy consisted of 30+ buses and a large number of Daesh militants. They are being transported to the Badiya Al-Sham region.

Yarmouk Camp Activist : Tonight or tomorrow morning the last batch of ISIS of all of Southern Damascus Countryside will leave Yarmouk camp.

As soon as ISIS withdrew from Yarmouk Camp towards E. Syria’s desert, tanks and trucks entered the S. Damascus districts.

Oscar Silva Martinez

Hello there, I can’t help to ask you this….every time I read your comments it is like anticipating something is going to happen and I can see you are right most of the times?, do you know anything that the rest of us don’t? hehehehe, regards

John Chartrand

I guess all those jihads that ran away were not interested in meeting those 70 virgins!

neil barron

They don’t know it yet but there are no virgins left, they destroyed them all. But I can get them a whole bunch of Camels no virginity guaranteed.

Rob

After Yarmouk pocket the next is,

1. in May, 2018 the ISIS pocket in Homs/Deir Ezzor. 2. in June, 2018 Idlib/Aleppo provences, 3. in July, 2018 Daraa/Golan Heights, 4. in August, 2018 Al-Tanf, 5. in September, 2018 Deir Ezzor/Hasakah/Raqqah provinces.

At the moment all these areas are in the control of foreign terrorists.

Hendrik

1. yes, very likely, there is not much resistance left 2. never, there are everywhere turkish observation posts. There is a political understanding between Russia and Turkey to find a political solution 3. Daraa maybe, as there are no US troops or turkish troops. But Golan Heights never. 4. never, there are US troops in Al-Tanf 5. never, same as 4. – the SAA is not strong enough to attack US troops

Rob

US are failed in land war. They only do war by air support. If Russia lock the air for illegal intruders then SAA can easily advance. The world number one enemy is Zionists of America, UK and France. They have occupied Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Ukraine etc. They are atheists and have no kind for humans.

neil barron

Number one enemy is IRAN the center of the universe of SATAN’S HELL!!

Hendrik

Russia will not escalate the war and seek a direct confrontation with US troops. This will not happen. This is also not the mission statement for the Russian support mission in Syria.

gustavo

MAybe,, let us wait for SAA decision,, but it must be right away, there is not time to lose.

Rob

Russia support Zionists gang and their leader Netanyahu. Support to Netanyahu mean support to Al-Qaeda and ISIS. That is why Syrian land and air is open for Israel, US, UK and France to keep doing their dirty operations there.

Merijn

Nice Job SAA & Friends…. DAESH will decide soon what their best options will be for the near future….wear them down & they will be Happy Lab-Rats for you in Homs Desert…..

adzsiam

So much for ‘fighting to the death.’ I guess even ISIS’s most fanatical were wondering if the ’72 whatever virgins’ BS was kosher…I mean, halal. Meanwhile, their handlers got their freedom tickets with this deal.

John Chartrand

I guess all those jihads that ran away were not interested in meeting those 70 virgins! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

antoun

excellentes news!! bravo theSAA and allied palestinians!!

Joe Dirt

SAA and Russia bomb the shit out of Damascus, then agree to let IS leave…

Joe Dirt

Syrian state media agency SANA denied reports of any evacuation deal between IS and the Syrian government on Saturday. The outlet reported on Monday that the departure of buses from south Damascus the night before was part of “an evacuation of women, children and the elderly during a temporary ceasefire enacted [Sunday] evening for humanitarian reasons.”

A media spokesman for Liwa al-Quds, a Palestinian militia that participated in the SAA’s anti-IS offensive in south Damascus, told Syria Direct on Sunday that reports about a government-coordinated evacuation of IS were “not true.”

The media spokesman refused to comment on the government capture of IS-held districts south of the capital on Monday.

Is Southtard reporting correctly?
