On Saturday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies captured 3 new border posts (161, 162, 163) on the Syrian-Jordanian border, according to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria.
Furthermore, the SAA captured Ghadir Mahmud area and Mahmud valley in the southeastern Damascus countryside near the Syrian-Jordanian border.
The Mahmud valley is one of the most important illegal crossing on the Syrian-Jordanian border. Free Syrian Army (FSA) groups had been using the crossing to smuggle ammunition and weapons from Jordan to Syria since 2011.
US-backed Jaysh Usud al-Sharqiya claimed that its fighters destroyed a truck of the SAA with an ATGM. Jaysh Usud al-Sharqiya also claimed that it had repelled the SAA attack however these claims were proven to be untrue again.
The SAA is advancing towards the last border post between Damascus governorate border and the Jordanian border. The post is located 55Km south of al-Tanaf near the Iraqi border where the US-led collation forces are located.

I’m afraid Jordan is a British protectorate. They only do what they are told! The massive Saudi embassy complex in Amman is the war operations Centre for Southern Syria. When the Syrians manage to close off the Jordanian border 100% things will definitely look up.
