On July 4, ISIS fighters tried to launch an attack on several positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) around Tell Bassir in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside, according to the media wing of the Syrian National Defense Forces (NDF).

The Syrian pro-government news outlet al-Masdar News said that the SAA was able to detect ISIS fighters moving towards its positions before launching the attack. Following that, the SAA backed by the NDF and fighters of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) clashed with the terrorist and foiled their attack attempt.

According to the NDF, the SAA and its allies killed and injured many fighters of ISIS and captured one other during the clashes near Tell Bassir.

Last month, the SAA and its allies launched a military operation to eliminate ISIS pocket in the eastern Daraa countryside. However, the SAA paused the operation after securing several areas in order to focus on its ongoing operation in the southern governorates of Daraa and al-Quneitra.

Once the SAA complete its mission in southern Syria, it will likely resume its operation in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside and put an end to the terrorist group there.

No Fear, ISIS are about to meet their superiors, and then their Maker.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

No real resilience just a lot of hiding and waiting all the SAA needs to do is hunt the rats in their Rat dens should be worth sending them in body bags to their financiers.
