On August 10, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the SAA advanced more than 40km deep in the northeastern al-Suwayda countryside. According to the state-run news agency, the SAA’s engineer units removed dozens of IEDs and destroyed a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), which was left behind by ISIS fighters.
The SAA and local fighters also attacked a hideout of the terrorist group near the area of Beir Hassan in the northern al-Suwayda countryside. The SANA said that 13 fighters of ISIS were killed and dozens others were injured as a result of the attack.
As the battle in northern al-Suwayda intensifies, the negotiations between the Damascus government and ISIS to release around 30 civilians, who were abducted by the terrorist group previously, have failed for unknown reasons, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
Last week, ISIS fighters executed one of the hostages 19 years old “Muhanad Zuqan Abu Amar,” after the failure of the first round of negotiations. The terrorist group may execute other hostages in the upcoming hours in order to pressure the Damascus government, which seems determined to release them at all costs.

Okay, maybe you are right and the S-300 have already been there for a while. Can you give the link to this particular news?
An idea: try to get the number of soldiers by each arm: infantry, tanks, artillery and so on. You can even contact the SAA and ask them if they can give such information. These guys maybe can give you a contact with the SAA:

Sadly, Syria has not yet been supplied with S-300s by Russia, courtesy of close cooperation between RF and Israel.
Before S-300 supply was delayed due to its up gradation not due to Israeli pressure because its radar has been replaced to search stealthy F-35, F-22 etc. Then Syrian engineers have upgraded S-200 in Syria by support of Russian engineers to seek F-35 and F-22 etc. Now the S-300 supply have been completed. Now the Syrian air defence force should be red alert and vigilant to shoot down any intruders planes and missiles. Moreover Russia have setup electronic warfare headquarter in Syria in which all Syrian men and women are working to stop enemies attacks, communications, radar, or other assets. They keep looking on air, land and see and stop any enemy’s provocation immediately.
