On August 9, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) countinued its advance in the northern al-Suwayda countryside and reached the areas of Dahrat Rashid, al-Naima, al-Salasil and al-Sawut, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The SANA’s reporter in the governorate of al-Suwayda said that the SAA killed several fighters of ISIS during its advance. Currently, engineer units of the SAA are removing dozens of mines and IEDs, which had been planted by ISIS fighters.
According to the Syrian al-Suwayda 24 blog, the SAA has secured more than 50 km2 since the beginning of its military operation against the remaining cells of ISIS in the northern countryside of al-Suwayda. Hundreds of local fighters and several units of Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) are participating in the operation.
Local sources said that ISIS fighters are now running away towards the heavily fortified area of al-Safa in the northern al-Suwayda countryside. The terrorists may be planning to reorganize their ranks and launch a counter attack from the area.
The US and Israel buildup and plundering is continue with full force in all Middle East. New illegal settlements and new terrorist training centres are building up across Middle East.

“Hundreds of local fighters”, who I would guess be Druze, looking to find those barbarians who killed 250 of their family.
Just as I predicted, the militants are being swept out of their hideouts. They were planning to attack the SAA from behind once the army moved its attention to Idlib. That plan is over. If the SAA sweeps the other militants out of their holes in the South, then Al Tanf will be thoroughly isolated, no matter what the US does. Of course they will waste no time in rearming the remaining militants, but that will only amount to scattered bands of plunderers I predict that the Assad government will cap off their Southern pacification campaign with a fortification of every major town bordering the Southern desert, especially Palmyra. If it does this, then and only then will it reason able to attack Idlib. The operations north are going to be bloody and grinding, so the South cannot be allowed to rise up and split the country in half.
The south now is the active secondary front, and some elite unites and the militias are enough. What is next, as main front, is this (and, I suspect, even a little more in the Idlib de-escalation zone): https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/syrian-army-gears-up-for-major-offensive-in-northwest-syria-map/
