On July 19 afternoon, a unit of the Syrian Police was ambushed in the eastern countryside of Daraa by unidentified gunmen.
According to local sources, the gunmen targeted the unit’s vehicle, a Toyota Hilux pick-up, with machine guns as it was passing on a road between the towns of Nahtah and al-Hrak. The gunmen managed to escape.
As a result of the ambush, Maj. Ghadek Iskandar, head of al-Hrak’s Police department, was killed. Five other policemen were reportedly injured.

The attack may have been carried out by ISIS. The terrorist group’s cells are active in the eastern Daraa countryside. In the last few months, ISIS terrorists carried out many attacks against government service members and local fighters in the region.
The Syrian Arab Army captured the remaining opposition stronghold in Daraa in 2018. Most of the radicals were exiled to the north back then. However, some managed to stay.
Syrian government forces and local fighters have notable difficulties in the field of coordination of their efforts as they should to secure Daraa. Russian officials are holding meetings with both sides on a regular basis to improve the situation in the governorate.
ISIS is Israels foreign legion, every single thing they do benefits the ideals of Israeli expansion in the region. Israel supplies them with intel money and munitions not to mention the famous military hospital care
It’s accepted that a wounded SAS trooper was extracted from the Daraa area by a Royal Airforce Chinook illegally in Syrian airspace close to the border with Jordan last year. The trooper was ‘training’ terrorists in how to skin and eat rabbits and other such valuable things, I am sure .
The recent ‘ISIS’ campaign that is targetting senior officers of the Syrian and Iranian forces has ‘SAS’ tactics written all over it.
The jews are far to precious to be amongst the terrorist ranks and to be put in harms way.
