Joe Doe

I would not be surprised, if SDF and americans made a deal with ISIS such as: ISIS will keep fierce resistance to government forces in Maskanah to prevent SAA advances south towards Raqqa and in return SDF and americans will allow escape ISIS unharmed from Raqqa

John Mason

Spot on there Joe.

Jens Holm

Same manipulative attitude of the worst kind. Do You even believe it Yourself.

Joe Doe

You don’t know me, therefore you should watch your statements. I providing my statements on facts and action by groups included in my statements and not like you on fake information or by watching propaganda answer such as CNN or CTV. I know truth always hurts

Jens Holm

hahahhahahhahahhahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahhahahahhhahaha

Bill Wilson

Fuckin’ SF is nothing but fake news custom-made for dimwits like you.

Shred1

Wake up from your slumber, sleepy head.

Joe Doe

You better wake up walking trush

Shred1

Sure, right after CIA gave ISIS their paychecks.

Bob

Also potentially giving full control – both banks – of the Tabqa Dam to SDF – it is major Syrian infrastructure and source of hydroelectric power – all very useful assets for the partition plan.

Free man

And maybe the SDF are just better fighters.

gold37

lol, maybe. But they don’t have a social incubator that SAA does.

Free man

I wrote my opinion on why the SDF is advancing faster than the Syrian army. There doesn’t have to be a conspiracy when one advances faster than the other.

gold37

You can have your view and your say…it’s yours. Personally, I find ‘SDF’ being better fighters quite laughable, but then again, it’s my personal opinion.

Bill Wilson

The SDF does have better soldiers and superior leadership. The SAA is mostly comprised of private militias that only follow orders from their strongman leaders and not Damascus. That’s why the general SAA units haven’t done jack shit against the extremists and ISIS.

Solomon Krupacek

and they dream about destroying of israel :(((

batavian01

Except for eliminating 3,000+ ISIL fighters in the last 2-3 weeks, while the SDF is stuck at Raqqa and avoiding combat by leaving an open back door.

gold37

lol, if you say so, in my opinion, capturing villages and hamlets cannot compare to capturing cities.

batavian01

Look at the population density of the area presently controlled by the SDF, compared to regions West of the Euphrates. The concentration of ISIL forces in Eastern Aleppo is much greater than in the Eastern provinces which is mostly rural, therefor easier to defend with a light force, iow, the SAA faces larger formations of ISIL defenders. Besides, IMHO, leaving an open back door allowing your adversary to escape is not really a testament to one’s fighting ability.

Solomon Krupacek

sure are.

the arabs are cowards. they not enter the army.

look at kurds:

John Whitehot

“The arab are cowards” Business as usual I see, even three old children can make sentences less generalizing than this.

John Whitehot

or maybe there are a hundred other reasons but you picked this one.

Free man

Maybe, but I chose what seemed logical to me. When you see what SDF are able to do with light weapons against ISIS. This is a logical conclusion.

Stephen

Already we know ISIS are US SOF.

John Brown

The USA the SDF, the FSA and ISIS all work for Israel at the top levels even if the stupid Goyim slaves at the bottom don’ t realize it. ISIS is under Israeli orders to hold out against the SAA at all cost until they can be relieved by Israel’s other stupid animal Goyim slave vassal allies the, FSA, SDF and the USA. So Israel can carve up Syria Iraq and Turkey with the Kurds as part of the Yinon plan for greater racist supremacist Israel.

TS

ya,, more CAPTAGON except some went to France by mistake.. maybe some one wanted that BITCOIN instead of US dollars.

John Mason

Time to drop a big bomb like the FOAB not the imitation MOAB.

Shred1

cuz that’ll help?

John Mason

Yes and more than 1.

Solomon Krupacek

go and drop

Smrda

Well, SAA, it’s about time!

Jens Holm

Well, I dont get it. Why is the advance not continued and a new one announced. There should be many troops, but as often they dont seems to get supply to continue or are moved to Palmyra, latakia or whatever.

A new advance ???

Solomon Krupacek

the syrian army is hopless

Bill Wilson

This article is just more SF bullshit. The SAA is skirting the region west of the highway so ISIS can withdraw fighters to the south and east. The SAA is now moving east from Khanasir because ISIS has withdrawn from the region. I don’t blame them for advancing in a cautious fashion since ISIS can take out armor from a distance using ATGM’s. I’m sure the Tiger Forces are using foot soldiers to secure areas before their AFV’s enter them.

TS

Withdrawal has been a disastrous for IS.. At some point they will fight and die, not try to run and die.

Night Hunter

SAA Are not stoping to greet IS in maskabeh. They are driving by to get to the junction. Another juggernaut with republican guards is coming up from west to deal with them.

Jens Holm

As written below I dont see any drive in those SAA. When they cant take Maskanah after hard figting – how in earth should they even reach Raqqa area – Unless as Tourist with guide after being a SDF safe zone.

Tudor Miron

Than go there and show them some real drive? If you’re not ready than it’s meaningless to accuse others of not showing you “any drive” :)

Solomon Krupacek

why he, miron moron? youare the ace, you go fight. and mainly, the syrian people should fight.

Miguel Redondo

I see this movement as absolutely logic and from the book. If the enemy puts on a stiff and well organised resistence in one point , than y choose another point of attack where the enemy is underprepared. Maskanah is not the Thermopylae. The SAA can perfectly choose another way to meet their goals.

Hendrik

The US considers ISIS still as an asset to fight Assad. Same should have happened in Mosul, but the PMU cut off the roads to Syria and prevented a large movement of ISIS terrorists from Mosul to Syria. Now it happens in Raqqa. ISIS will be weakened, but not destroyed. It shall continue to fight the SAA. Meanwhile the SDF is taking a big piece of Syria, probably preparing the separation from Syria. Turkey would never accept an independent Kurdish state, so finally Assad and Erdogan might become allies. This war is totally weired. Syria is a crazy house.

Tudor Miron

It became a crazy house in the moment US/Israel organised that “democratic freedom of jihad” movements. Consequences would be much worse if Russia and Iran didn’t step in. Things are problematic now but it’s by far better than it was a couple of years ago.

Hendrik

I know, but after it looked like the kurds and Assad might find a peacful cooperation in a federal Syria with a limited autonomy for the kurds, it now looks like we wil have a final showdown between SAA and kurds – which would be a really bloody war. We also know that Russia is not interested in such an escalation. Russia wants to limit it’s engagement as much as possible.

TS

Kurd nation? Then Turkey will leave NATO.. probably will anyway.

Attrition47

USukzioNato, Big Bad Wolf and a rabble of Mini-Me mercenaries.

John

The SAA and Co. is one, two punching all of them, all over the place. Whatever any of the opposition is planning or doing, including the Occidentals, it is irrelevant now. I was concerned about some of the western moves recently but, now I have a clearer view. Nothing is going to stop the SAA from:

1) reconstituting and rearming with superior everything, including methodology, logistical capability, command and control, ever more advanced weapons, on and on and on…..

2) taking back all of Syria. IS is not done and they are lighting it up in different countries now, again. There are political fires breaking out all over the place ( eg Climate Treaty ). The wave of trouble that is developing worldwide will leave few able to donate sufficient time and resources, to even keeping pace in Syria. Just look back a bit to 2012. Clear skies for Occidental soft power, enemies falling like dominoes and then comeback to now. The contrast is stark in the extreme.

Go SAA. I wish well to all.

Montenegrin ??

Pushing east of Khanasir would do miracles for the Army, it would force Daesh to fight off heavy advances from the SAA’s best units on two different sides which would keep them off balance. Furthermore, it would finally make the Aleppo supply route less vulnerable and more established. I wish them look and I hope we see a huge buffer zone around the road soon

Kourosh Ghaaedi

Iraqi Army will soon be in Deir EZ ZOR and relieve syrian Army. Terrorist will not allowed to stable themselves in eastern Syria
