Syrian, Russian Air Forces Resume Strikes On Greater Idlib (Videos)

The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) and the Russian Aerospace Forces resumed on November 28 their aerial operations against terrorists’ positions in Greater Idlib.

According to the UK-based Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Russian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on the town of Kafr Nabl and its outskirt in southern Idlib.

Attack helicopters of the SyAAF also conducted several airstrikes on the key town of Kabani and its surroundings in the opposition-held part of the northern Lattakia countryside.

The SyAAF and the Russian Aerospace Forces halted their operations on November 27. The bad weather was likely the reason behind the surprise halt of airstrikes, as northwest Syria was witnessing a heavy rain storm.

The weather is expected to be clear in the upcoming 24 hours. This will provide the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with a chance to resume its limited ground operation in the southeastern Idlib countryside.
