Syrian, Russian Warplanes Target Terrorist Positions Throughout Greater Idlib (Videos)

Syrian and Russian warplanes and attack helicopters carried out on October 25 a series of airstrikes on terrorists’ positions in Greater Idlib. According to several opposition sources, the airstrikes targeted the following areas:

  • The towns of Hizareen, Kansafra, Maarzita and Ma’aret Hurmah in the southern Idlib countryside;
  • The town of Taked in the western Aleppo countryside;
  • The town of Kabani and its outskirt in the northern Lattakia countryside.

A day earlier, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), backed by the Russian Aerospace Forces, launched a large-scale attack on terrorists’ positions in northern Lattakia. However, no ground assult was carried out.

Greater Idlib is controlled by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and other terrorist groups. The Turkish-backed National Syrian Army (NSA) also maintains few positions within the region.

A ceasefire is currently imposed in the region. However, HTS and its allies are violating it on a daily basis, which could soon lead to a major escalation.

Time to send those turkish-proxy-terrorists to meet their Maker.

Russia and Syria rain terror on militants. Stop saying ‘terrorists’… that word has no meaning anymore. Everyone involved uses terror.
