Syrian security forces have discovered and seized another batch of IEDs and mines in the recently liberated area of southern Damascus, according to the state media.
These times the mines and IEDs were found in the areas of Yalda and Babila from which militnats were evacuated under the deal with the government on May 10.
According to reports, hundreds of locals have already returned to their homes in the liberated areas. However, the security situation still has to be imporved.
Government forces have to remove the vestiges of IEDs and mines and eliminate sleeper cells in the area in order to restore peaceful life as soon as possible.
Eliminate zionist scumbag sleeper cells, their favourite tactic, car bombs, and suicide bombers of the Saudi brainwashed tribe.
First US and Israel demonize a soft target and then they get license to attack them by all means to achieve their evil goals. Turkey, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Russia and China have no problem with Palestinian government Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas. The main problems are US and Israeli migrants in the Middle East region.
Europe itself is against Israel now. I think the parents want to punish their child (1 of).
Damascus has become what Baghdad was, a constant source of cutthroat insurgency and rampant gang activity.
No, completely wrong. Until recently Damascus had very distinct and foriegn sponsored militant pockets – that were source of all the localized instability – the regular mortar shelling and car/suicide bombings in Damascus city proper emanated from these few fortified militant pockets. These pockets have/ are being fully dealt with and cleared out by Tiger Forces and SAA.
But has the underlying societal issues been swept away with them? Syrian politics was cutthroat even before the Assad family assumed leadership, full of petty crimes and abuses of all sorts which produced the chronic state of extreme poverty. Maybe Assad himself is a good man but the decisions of no one person or group can change that, and the idea that all of one state’s problems are due to outsiders is so ridiculous as to be written off as propaganda.
The primary source of armed and violent civil instability in Syria has been the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood – for many decades. They are the cadre of the actual Syrian armed terrorists – and whilst they may be domestic, they were certainly sought out for contact by the CIA through middle-late 2000’s. Prior to the Arab Spring events, the CIA write a report in mid 2000’s citing how best to destabilize the existing Syrian political leadership. Their conclusion, sectarian conflict, and the many criminally convicted terrorists of the Syrian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood were very high on the CIA’s list of who to engage and negotiate actions with.
You throw the word propaganda at others a lot. Are you familiar with the psychological concept of projection? It is the unconscious projecting of your own motivations, thoughts and behaviors directly onto others – so as to avoid having to take any (uncomfortable) responsibility for them.
You’re not a very good liar, and clearly you want to condemn me because your scapegoating of the Muslim Brotherhood and CIA will not hold up under close scrutiny.
Think of how in this conflict there are many sub-conflicts; Rebels units that fight each other, the Kurds, ISIS, the Turks and allies, the Iran-Israeli undeclared war, the rampant gang activities, the thinly veiled black markets and looting, you really expect anyone to believe that ‘the usual suspects’ orchestrated that for fun?
Ah, you’ve upgrade from throwing term ‘propaganda’ at others to ‘liar’ now. You increasingly reveal yourself. As for your claim that, ‘…scapegoating of the Muslim Brotherhood and CIA will not hold up under close scrutiny’, what a complete steaming pile. Are you remotely aware that in 2010 Wikileaks leaked a trove US State Department cables? One particular State Department cable from 2006 very clearly states that the destabilization of the Syrian state and its leadership is a primary regional strategic objective of official US middle east policy. It’s in black and white – the State Department and the CIA are the bureaucratic arms that enact formal US state-executive policy. However, if that wasn’t enough, further leaked CIA documents, leaked in 2017, that date from 1983 indicate that similar CIA plans were long tabled against Syria and the leadership of al-Assad senior. Are you a standard pro-US troll or just very ignorant of realpolitik geo-strategic events?
