Syrian troops have liberated a large area from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and its allies in northern Hama, according to pro-government sources.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) established control over the areas of Qasr Shawi, Muwaylih Shamali, Mhassar, Rabiah, Hamra Silos and Mhassar Hill.
Earlier, the SAA and the NDF liberated the village of Hasnawi in the nearby area.
