Late on March 23, government forces, backed up by Russian warplanes, carried out a successful counter-attack against jihadists in northern Hama, recapturing the villages of Kawkab, Abdin and the strategic hill south of Maardas. The Syrian army’s Tiger Forces, the 5th Storming Corps, the Lions of the Desert and the National Defense Forces also advanced on Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly the al-Qaeda branch in Syria) and its allies in Azrah, Zawr al Balah, Abu Ubaydah, Bilhusayn and Shayzar and recaptured these areas, according to pro-government sources. Militants denied this. Indeed, clashes are ongoing at the whole frontline and the situation is changing rapidly.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and allied militant groups had deployed about 2,500-3,000 fighters and over 20 units of military equipment for the operation in the area. They also actively use US-supplied TOW anti-tank missiles.

The Syrian army’s Tiger Forces fully secured the area of Deir Hafer and took control of the nearby village of Um Tinah in the province of Aleppo. The further operations are developing in the direction of Al-Mahdum.

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has captured villages of Mushayrfah al-Shahnat, al-Ghassaniyah, Fatsat Abd Ismail and Fatisat Bayram east of Raqqah. According to pro-Kurdish sources, US troops and SDF members are also in control of the Tabqa dam after a swift operation behind ISIS lines on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that it had summoned the acting Russian envoy after one Turkish soldier was shot dead by cross-border fire from the Kurdish-controlled area of Arin in northern Syria.

“It is an attack on Turkey from a region that is said to be under YPG-PYD control,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Huseyin Muftuoglu explained. “However, the Russian chargé d’affaires was summoned because Russia is responsible for monitoring violations in this region. Through the visit of Russian chargé d’affaires, our views about the involvement of Russian military elements in Afrin were repeated.” Muftuoglu added that Turkey expects Russia to take steps to shut down PYD offices in the country.

The Turkish posture aimed at blaming PYD, Russia and Iran for Ankara’s inability to achieve own goals in the ongoing Middle Eastern crisis increased after the sides were not able to make any breakthrough agreements during the recent visit of President Erdogan to Moscow. Experts also link Ankara’s attitude with the boycott of the new round of the Astana talk from militant groups and the recent incensement of their military activity across Syria.

Earlier this week, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that some its units had been deployed to the Afrin region “in the contact area between detachment of the Kurdish militia and formations of the Free Syrian Army controlled by the Turkish party” in order to monitor the ceasefire and prevent any violations. Moscow denied initial reports that Russia may set up a military base in the region.

Good news. Now the SAA and Russia must make sure those terrorists taking part in the Hama offensive do not escape.

This Turkish dispute with Russia is just part of what I believe is a Russian / Turkey secret plan. Turkey threatens Russia etc. while at the same time giving the Zionist empire an ultimatum on the Kurds. Looks like Turkey will pull out of NATO and attack the Kurds in Eastern Syria which is good for Syria, Russia and Turkey as it defeats the Yinon plan to carve up Turkey, Syria and Lebanon for a greater Israel.

It’s no coincidence that Russia just completed its MIR payment system to connect with China’s payment system and possibly Turkey, Iran and Syria and others to replace and bypass SWIFT; as the Zionist empire will certainly cut Turkey out of swift to try to destroy the Turkish economy for leaving NATO and defying the plans of the racist supremacist master Jewish race, so turkey will need to be part of the Russian Mir payment system to avoid economic collapse and regime change.

R.D. Cheese

Mr. Brown, I had heard of a “Yinon plan,” I think through Thierry Meyssan of Voltaire Network, but I’d for gotten all that it entailed. But, I had thought that it was a plan ONLY for carving up Syria, not Turkey and Lebanon also.

Mr. Brown, I would like to know your view of President Trumps deployment of troops into Syria, an apparent reversal of his “promise” to keep the U.S. out of war. I have only a cursory view of the situation, but here is what I see:

Syria, Russia, Iran and Hezbollah have been very successful in not only CHECKING, but REVERSING the progress of imported jihadis, taqfiris, mercenaries and other such groups. It even seemed possible that Assad’s promise to take back ALL of Syria’s territory would be kept.

Now, President Trump sends troops there. For what? Syria, Russia, Iran and Hezbollah were doing quite well. Also, the Syrian government DID NOT invite the U.S. to send troops to Syria.

I have little trust in the foreign policy of my country, the U.S. I saw, day by day, what it did to Libya. I fear that the U.S. is attempting something underhanded, although it seems a bit bold (and reckless) that it would actually go into Syria and attempt to block Russia.

Sir, would you please give your view of why U.S. troops have entered Syria? It is alleged, by the Trump administration, that it is for the purpose of capturing Raqqa, the HQ of ISIS. Please answer, if you wish. Thank you.

(Anyone else can answer, of course, also).

John Brown

There are different variations of the Yinon plan. The main thing is to expand the territory of Israel through military means. It is very simple as with every expansionist empire Israel will grab any territory it can. Trump appears to want to attack ISIS and Al-Qaeda because they are a threat to America but not a threat to Israel who command them. This is against Israel’s wishes and let’s not forget the whole Ukrainian thing started after Russia defied Israel and stepped in to prevent Obama from attacking Syria (by getting rid of Syria’s chemical weapons) under Israel orders. It may be that Trump actually cares a little bit about America interests and not just Israel’s as just about everyone else in America who are all on the payroll of AIPAC.

If Tump would give in on this and also completely abandon the American peoples interests ni favor of Israel’s by allowing mass uncontrolled immigration and the complete destruction of the American economy like Bush Obama, Clinton etc etc. I think he would get all the money and praise he wants but he appears to not want to do this. He also appears to not want to risk global nuclear war to obey Israel’s wishes unlike Hillary. If Hillary had of won I think all life on this planet would have been destroyed in a nuclear war by this summer We should know for sure by the summer if Trump is just another sellout to the Zionist empire.

“Greater Israel”: The Zionist Plan for the Middle East

The Infamous “Oded Yinon Plan”. Introduction by Michel Chossudovsky

By Israel Shahak

Global Research, December 28, 2016

Association of Arab-American University Graduates, Inc. 3 March 2013

Region: Middle East & North Africa

Theme: Culture, Society & History, Law and Justice, Religion

In-depth Report: IRAQ REPORT, PALESTINE, SYRIA: NATO’S NEXT WAR?

The Atlantic, in 2008, and the U.S. military’s Armed Forces Journal, in 2006, both published widely circulated maps that closely followed the outline of the Yinon Plan. Aside from a divided Iraq, which the Biden Plan also calls for, the Yinon Plan calls for a divided Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria. The partitioning of Iran, Turkey, Somalia, and Pakistan also all fall into line with these views. The Yinon Plan also calls for dissolution in North Africa and forecasts it as starting from Egypt and then spilling over into Sudan, Libya, and the rest of the region.

This article was first published on Global Research on April 29, 2013.

Global Research Editor’s Note

The following document pertaining to the formation of “Greater Israel” constitutes the cornerstone of powerful Zionist factions within the current Netanyahu government, the Likud party, as well as within the Israeli military and intelligence establishment.

In recent developments, Donald Trump has confirmed his support of Israel’s illegal settlements and his opposition to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which confirms the illegality of the Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.

According to the founding father of Zionism Theodore Herzl, “the area of the Jewish State stretches: “From the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates.” According to Rabbi Fischmann, “The Promised Land extends from the River of Egypt up to the Euphrates, it includes parts of Syria and Lebanon.”

When viewed in the current context, the war on Iraq, the 2006 war on Lebanon, the 2011 war on Libya, the ongoing wars on Syria and Iraq, the war on Yemen, the process of regime change in Egypt, must be understood in relation to the Zionist Plan for the Middle East.

The latter consists in weakening and eventually fracturing neighboring Arab states as part of an Israeli expansionist project.

“Greater Israel” consists in an area extending from the Nile Valley to the Euphrates. According to Stephen Lendman, “A near-century ago, the World Zionist Organization’s plan for a Jewish state included:

• historic Palestine;

• South Lebanon up to Sidon and the Litani River;

• Syria’s Golan Heights, Hauran Plain and Deraa; and

• control of the Hijaz Railway from Deraa to Amman, Jordan as well as the Gulf of Aqaba.

Some Zionists wanted more – land from the Nile in the West to the Euphrates in the East, comprising Palestine, Lebanon, Western Syria and Southern Turkey.”

The Zionist project supports the Jewish settlement movement. More broadly it involves a policy of excluding Palestinians from Palestine leading to the eventual annexation of both the West Bank and Gaza to the State of Israel.

Greater Israel would create a number of proxy States. It would include parts of Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, the Sinai, as well as parts of Iraq and Saudi Arabia. (See map).

According to Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya in a 2011 Global Research article, The Yinon Plan was a continuation of Britain’s colonial design in the Middle East:

“[The Yinon plan] is an Israeli strategic plan to ensure Israeli regional superiority. It insists and stipulates that Israel must reconfigure its geo-political environment through the balkanization of the surrounding Arab states into smaller and weaker states.

It looks like this website is bowing to Jewish power and starting to censor my anti- racist posts. I made another smaller one hopefully you will get it with the link.

Interesting to see that Michel Chossudovsky is also a jew, and jews are the masters of the deception in the world (since Abraham), any way, it is interesting this point of view and deserve to be taken into account.

John Brown

He is probably a racist supremacist Mossad disinfo agent. If you want real news and real info from a jew who has turned away from racist, Jewish, supremacism and evil, go to Gilad Atzmon’s site.

The turks have transferred many of the turkish backed terrorist units from northern Syria in and around Bab to idlib to support this attack on hama.

This means turkish occupied syria is lightly defended. Maybe time to test Bab defenses.

Thegr8rambino

they need to ALL be vaporized

They may be badly led and misbehaving, but they’re still a NATO member state. Best to avoid direct confrontations.

Brown and Cheese, we, in the democratic and Christian West, need to take care of the middle east. the crazy Arabs, the incompetent ottomans, the murderous Shiites, the arrogant Israelites, etc,etc need to be kept under control. We need a crusade. We have the means. Let us reconquer the Holy Lands and the surroundings for the democracy, for Christianity, for the respect for the women, for development and decency. Russia you either help or leave the area. Mr Trump, we trust you will do the right thing and nuke Iran and other so called islamic countries that hate and attack christians.

outer_rl

Is that wise, Dr Strangelove?
