The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies advances on ISIS positions in the eastern parts of the Homs province. According to pro-government sources, at least 175 ISIS militants have been killed in the recent clashes near the al-Hail oilfield along the Palmyra-Deir Ezzur highway and in the Jabal al-Shaer region.
Separately, the pro-government forces restored security to vast plains near the newly-liberated mountains in the area of Palmyra. ISIS terrorists withdrew from the Southern plains of Jabal al-Mketa’a and the plateau in the Western side of Antar mountain.
Losses are on both sides. Would be interesting to know the ratio. Usually it is 1:1.
@ Zuzana Rehakova,
SAA + Allied forces were in defensive positions and that tends to give them better protection and helps them in surviving assaults [to a certain extent].
But yes, blood flows on the good side as well…
P.S. I have a friend named Susanna, so if I ever make a mistake [in your name:], don’t take it personal, OK? :o)
