On January 27, the Syrian Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced that the maritime oil pipeline network near the port city of Banyas was targeted by an IED attack.
“The technical staff of the Ministry immediately started to evaluate the damages caused by that terrorist act to undertake the maintenance works and ensure the continuation of the oil productions,” Syria’s SANA quoted the ministry statement as saying.
The attack took place amid the Syrian Army’s rapid advance on positions of radical militants in southeastern Idlib. MORE HERE
The January 27 incident was the second time when the Banyas pipeline came became a target of the sabotage act. On January 23, 2019 the attack on the pipeline caused an oil leak and put a large part of the pipeline out of service.

Whoever planned and executed the attack obviously had a high level of expertise, including access to diving and sub-marine equipment. I’m surprised the terrorists were able to ‘acquire’ this sort of expertise considering they are all ‘mercenaries from Africa.’ Obviously, the country that gave the terrorists this equipment, training, and expertise have now opened them selves up to equivalent retaliatory strikes.

It would be interesting to know the specifics, eg water-depth at the damage site and and the distance offshore. Was this an export pipline?

Yes by USA navy shield from Syrian bases.SAA and allies should constantly prepare with navy drills and assault ships.Remember USA always test a certain target and if their succeed intensify with multiple attack.Just as their are testing Syrian and Russian air defences with multiple drones.First it was only one drone just like in Afghanistan and Iraq war.USA is very cautious for Iran.Because Iran showed the world that it can take down any sophisticated or latest USA drones.

This oil sabotage was done by USA,France and British sea shields.Their ISIS does not have sea shield.Russian patrols in oil zones are only block by USA soldiers.Any oil tanker supply from Iran to Syrian coast are only block by British and USA.This false in Turkey and Israel favor who both wishes to own regional oil.Turkey start drilling and Israel the biggest mother of terrorists hub also start drilling as well.
