Taliban Announce "General Amnesty", Call On Women To Take Part In Government

The Taliban announced a “general amnesty” across Afghanistan, they also urged women to join its government-to-be.

The group is trying to calm the situation in Kabul which just a day earlier saw chaos at its airport as thousands mobbed the city’s international airport in a desperate attempt to flee.

The promises of amnesty from Enamullah Samangani, a member of the Taliban’s cultural commission, were the first comments on how the Taliban might govern on a national level. His remarks remained vague, however, as the Taliban are still negotiating with political leaders of the country’s fallen government and no formal handover deal has been announced.

“The Islamic Emirate doesn’t want women to be victims,” Samangani said, using the militants’ name for Afghanistan. “They should be in the government structure according to Shariah law.”

This would mark a significant change from the last time the Taliban were in power, when women were largely confined to their homes.

Samangani didn’t describe exactly what he meant by Shariah, or Islamic, law, implying people already knew the rules the Taliban expected them to follow. He added that “all sides should join” a government.

It was also not clear what he meant by an amnesty, although other Taliban leaders have said they won’t seek revenge on those who worked with the Afghan government or foreign countries.

But some in Kabul allege Taliban fighters have lists of people who cooperated with the government and are seeking them out.

Rupert Colville, a spokesman for the United Nations’ high commissioner for human rights, noted both the Taliban’s vows and the fear of those now under their rule.

“Such promises will need to be honored, and for the time being — again understandably, given past history — these declarations have been greeted with some skepticism,” he said in a statement. “Nevertheless, the promises have been made, and whether or not they are honored or broken will be closely scrutinized.”

He added: “There have been many hard-won advances in human rights over the past two decades. The rights of all Afghans must be defended.”

U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday said he stood “squarely behind” his decision to withdraw American forces and acknowledged the “gut-wrenching” images unfolding in Kabul.

Biden said he faced a choice between honoring a previously negotiated withdrawal agreement or sending thousands more troops back to begin a third decade of war.

After 20 years, I’ve learned the hard way that there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces,” Biden said in a televised address from the White House.

Talks appeared to be continuing between the Taliban and several Afghan government officials, including former President Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, who once headed the country’s negotiating council.

An unnamed official with direct knowledge of the talks, said senior Taliban leader Amir Khan Muttaqi had arrived in Kabul from Qatar. Muttaqi is a former higher education minister during the Taliban’s last rule. Muttaqi had begun making contact with Afghan political leaders even before Ghani fled.

There appears to be some sort of psyop going on at Kabul airport.

According to several new reports (which can be found using google) the footage everyone has seen of the US transport taxing with people clinging onto it at Kabul airport appears to have been staged.

Apparently, the gates were opened and the people told to “greet” the planes – as does seem to be case when you see the FULL footage – you see people waving, laughing and smiling to the camera and jogging alonside, some are later seen “hugging” the plane. There is no sign of panic.

But get this – the plane is numbered 1109.

1109 is of course the ritual number ‘911’ reversed. There can be absolutely no coincidence. In fact only a fool would think this was a coincidence.

Other footage shows the outer perimeter of the airport being opened by security personnel and hundreds of people being allowed to run onto the runway – something which could never happen by accident if “5000” trained troops supported by spec ops were controlling the airport.

There is also some footage of the crowd waiting at the terminal main doors being told to “run” – apparently for the cameras.

Most tellingly we even had the classic 911 “falling man” ritual replayed to us – watch the falling men on the twin towers 911 attack and then the falling men on the plane numbered 1109.

Something very evil and ritualistic is happening right under our noses.

Also, footage from Twitter seems to show no more than around 500 US and UK troops (max) deployed at Kabul airport – so where are the other 5000? Dont tell me they hiding from view or at the military end of the airport.

It looks we are being psyoped with the scenes of “choas” at the airport and the plane number 1109 or 911 is so ‘in yer face’ that we cant ignore it. We need to compile footage and undertake a detailed examination – including who is actually being evacuated, which according to other blogs (with photographs) is “Middle East Looking Men” aged around 18-40.

You got me interested up until the part about “1109”.

Why would planners of a complex conspiracy intentionally give you a clue that it was faked?

How do you keep a conspiracy secret with at least 7000 US troops involved.

Personally I think it was a situation that got out of control and the US are panicking to get their people out …. aircraft callously flying off with civilians clinging to the wheels then falling to their deaths while US military dogs get entire first class rows to themselves is not an optic the USA wants to present to allies and “partners”.

You can bet a whole lot of SDF and Ukronazis are questioning their life choices today.

I agree, the 1109 part just discredited his whole comment.

not wise to dismiss all together given the track record. question among others is the number of troops. where are they coming from? that is one hell of a fast troop mobilization of 7000? keep in mind that north america is locked out and need permission to fly over. pakistan could allow the fly over if it happens.

Good call!

„Women shouldn‘t be victims“. That shouldn‘t be difficult since 99% of casualties of war are male. Having said that, men shouldn‘t be victims either. I haven‘t got the original text but my guess is they used sth like the word „mazlum“ meaning more exactly ‚wronged, ill-treated, supressed‘.

former vice president Amrullah Saleh declares himself interim president of Afghanistan and promises to resist the Taliban, I hope the Taliban capture Amrullah Saleh and arrest

Arch Bungle

Western propagandists are going to have a hard time spinning this.

Lie harder, Uncle Sam, lie harder!

IMHO

So now the “Taliban” wants women in government???

Everyone conforms sooner or later. Looks like the U.S. did win.

IMHO

The mission was regime change. First they want women in government. Next they will be champions of homosexual rights. Give it a few years.

It’s called political correctness and it is has infected most of the world.
