Taliban fighters during “Operation al-Khandagh”
On September 13, Taliban fighters attacked a base of the Afghan National Army (ANA) in the district of Pusht Rod in the western province of Farah, according to the Taliban news agency Voice of Jihad. The Afghan group claimed that its fighters killed ten soldiers, injured four others and destroyed an armored vehicle of the ANA.
A second attack by Taliban fighters targeted a checkpoint of the ANA and the Afghan National Police (ANP) in the district of Farah Rod. Voice of Jihad said that five personnel of the ANA and the ANP were killed and seven others were injured as a result of the attack.
According to the Associated Press (AP), provincial council chief Farid Bakhtawar in Farah acknowledged that the Taliban killed 12 personnel of the ANA and the ANP during several attacks in the province.
The Taliban said that both attacks were a part of the its spring offensive, codenamed “Operation al-Khandagh”, which was launched on April 25, in response to Washington’s decision to increase the US military presence in Afghanistan.
Last week, the Afghan group injured and killed 14 Afghan soldiers in a coordinated attack on the district center of Parchama. This new wave of attacks confirms that the Taliban is, once again, working to expand in Farah.
And of course, as always, no Taliban fighters are killed. Either they are superhuman or the Afghan army are one hell of a bunch of useless cunts
I believe most of the time they catch them at the most vulnerable times, like night time and early morning. Think about it they never know when there going to get hit so they stay paranoid probably don’t even sleep that well either. So if you attack at night the enemy will be half asleep when there in that battle.
…..the Afghan army are rather useless and run away screaming at the first sign of being attacked, …….. and then get killed.

Really they side with the Taliban, but the yankee dollars feeds the kids. Of course they run, they probably give, or sell their weapons and ammo to the Taliban.

The guys in the Afghan army are there for the money, no sane person would fight his own people for foreign invaders. Americans are obviously hated by the Afghan people, so why would they risk their lives for them.
You don’t walk down the street in any Afghan town without a gun, and good guns are expensive. Now if you join the “forces”, you get a state of the art gun, a bullet proof vest, and maybe even night googles. Then all you have to do is lay low until you have the opportunity to go AWOL. I would bet they have the highest desertion rates in the world.
Taliban have very modern gear now thanks to the puppet ANA selling off or surrendering their weapons to the resistance. Afghanistan has been a total humiliating disaster for losers and 50 assorted puppets and things will only get worse in the Graveyard of Empires.
