Taliban fighters during “Operation al-Khandagh”
On November 15, the Taliban launched a surprise attack on a key center of the Afghan National Police (ANP) in the district of Pusht Rod in the western province of Farah as a part of its spring offensive, codenamed “Operation al-Khandagh.”
“The center was completely overrun, killing 35 policemen including commander Khaksar and commander Jabbar, arresting 2 others and destroying a tank and 5 ranger pickups,” a press release by the Taliban news agency, Voice of Jihad, reads.
Members of Farah provincial council confirmed to the Afghan TOLO News TV that 40 personnel of the ANP were killed in an attack by the Taliban. The local officials also revealed that 60 other policemen have surrendered to the Afghan group.
Last May, Afghan government forces, backed by the NATO, repelled a large-scale attack of the Taliban on the capital of Farah. However, the government has not done much to counter the growing influence of the Afghan group in the province, since then.
So when the Taliban take over Afghanistan in it’s entirety which it looks as though it will do very soon, what happens then?!
Get in there Taliban. Keep the momentum and you can finally kick the US scum out of your Country.
For all the money spent, Afghan army should not be taking these loses. But if you have trust in Taliban, you should lock your doors and hope for the best. It is a lose-lose situation for the people. :(
I agree, hence the end part of the comment. I feel sick when I hear about young men dying in the Afghan military, being paid a shekel to act as cannon fodder and believing the US is defending their Country, but at this present time I would rather it this away around than the Taliban being slaughtered.
Taliban influence is now spreading even to non-Pashtun regions like Farah which is closer to Iran. The US and NATO losers have made a complete mess in Afghanistan. No wonder the US is airlifting Wahhabi headchoppers direct from Syria and Iraq.

They have tried for centurys, boy, with armys so big it dwarfs yours, for eons and yet they never managed to take them out, to me, Taliban is Adgans, Afgans-Taliban, the rest is whores and treaitores, period. Have you watched the way your uh….. warriors conduct their patrols, have you, makes me wounder, because the ugly truth is, they never show it on TV, like Yemen, just glimses but never the hole image. I have read the same steroid laden nonsense for 17 years, yeah, any moment now, we just need more cuns, and even when you have weapons like this mass killinh machine C-130, killing nything that moves.. And yet you couldnt beat them, fact is boy, you never will, never, just forget it, the second fact is, the prospects of future comers and recourse managments is much more beneficial that this war. This war is an total and by all means just pure evil, petty imperialistic scums tripping on past glorys/gorys, and still they kill people in millions, create refugees in millions, crushes land after land and the hooligans whines about the effects, of this wars while is extatic when watchng war porn.
I dont even bother to wasit time on thinking about ISIS/Al-CIAeda, etc, because the moment Taliban is in charge I know they will simply wipe them out, and fast, and this time, wankees, the purge will be without merccy, Afgans, show them non, and wipe them out along with anyone standing in your way.
