On the night of October 6, the Russian military launched new wave of strikes with drones and missiles in different regions of Ukraine. Explosions were reported in the Odessa, Kirovograd, Kiev, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. LINK
On the early morning of October 6, the center of the city of Kharkiv came under attack. The local authorities confirmed the attack and damage in two city districts. The mayor claimed that a residential building was struck. However, the casualties are extremely low, according to the official data.
A child was killed, he was found under the rubble of a residential building, said the head of the Kharkiv regional administration Oleg Sinegubov. Nine civilians sought medical help, including an 11-month-old child.

The claims of Ukrainian authorities that Russian forces were targeting civilians are lie. Rather the Russian missile failed to reach the hotel; or it was struck by another missile or an UAV and Kiev is hiding the real damage.

The building is located on Plekhanovskaya Street, 39. Information in open sources suggests that it was an ordinary house. The video confirmed that the building was not destroyed but damaged. the first city you can think russia will take and capture was kharkiv because was close to russian border… but if you have second thoughts you can understand why russian military didn’t take it… kharkiv haves a big population, also almost every western country have plants, agents and officers in that city, so, you need to buried to the ground and start over and you couldn’t do this. not an option to do it at the beginning of a xxi century war.

odessa is a historical city that is also important in itself. an attack would destroy this element. probably the city was not wanted to be destroyed.
