Al-Qaeda-affiliated Horas al-Din and Ansar al-Tawhid are still preparing to launch a large-scale offensive in Greater Idlib against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies, according to RusVesna.SU.

On April 30th, the outlet released new aerial photos showing reinforcements, which were recently deployed by the two groups in the towns of Fatterah and Binin in the southern Idlib countryside, as well as in the town of Kulaidan in the northwestern countryside of Hama.

The photos taken by reconnaissance aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which continue to monitor militants movements in Greater Idlib.

The newly-deployed reinforcements included a number of pickup trucks, rocket launchers, mortar cannons, as well as hundreds of militants.

Earlier this week, Horas al-Din and Ansar al-Tawhid amassed a fairly large strike force in the town Knaddah, which is located 40 km to the west of Idlib city.

The situation in Greater Idlib is slowly spinning out control. A day earlier, Russian warplanes shot down six drones which were launched from the region. A number of militants’ positions were also bombed.

Horas al-Din and Ansar al-Tawhid will not likely launch any offensive on the SAA and its allies without the approval of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, the de-facto ruler of Greater Idlib. The attack, which may jeopardize the ceasefire in the region, will be met with a fierce response.

These terrorists are probably enjoying their moment of ‘fame’ as they love photos. However I don’t think their mobilization will have a happy ending.

But the ISIS Jihadists got a phone call from Mafia prez. Bidet that they should wait with the all-out offensive a bit..

If Russia doesn’t take this incoming opportunity to obliterate the scum then they might as well just auction off their country to Turkey, USA, Israel and other countries OR INDIVIDUALS willing to purchase it.

Hey, Russia. It is drone time… And give some to Syria…

John Wallace

As long as they are being monitored and Russia / SAA are aware then they will be ready for them. Better that they group together and then get bombed en mass rather than trying to bomb ants. Question is what is Turkey going to do if and when it starts.. Did the US buzz in Turkeys ear and get them to support Ukraine ” while being impartial ” Has the US buzzed in their ear again to stoke up some action against Russia / SAA because as they are pulling out of Afghanistan , by sending more troops there , as well as Iraq soon ??? they do need to be able to stir the sh&t and cause death and mayhem somewhere. Interesting changes.

Gregory Casey

The longer these baxtards continue attacking the Turks and gathering their forces together, the better for all concerned provided both SAA and Russian Forces maintain a beady eye and prepare to attack the minute they move.
