In the morning of April 7, unknown terrorists launched a barrage of Grad rockets at the town of Masyaf in the western Hama countryside.
Local sources said that the rockets hit civilian buildings and the town’s hospital killing at least seven people, including two nurses, and injuring fourteen others. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) release photos showing the aftermath of the rocket attack.
“This was not the first time they launch rockets at the hospital. However, it was the most criminal attack yet,” Director General of Masyaf National Hospital Dr. Maher Younis told the SANA.
Masyaf, which is located more than 25km south of the demilitarized zone around militant-held Idlib, controls several key roads that links Syria’s coast with the central region. Russian forces maintain an air defense base near the town, where an S-400 system is deployed.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. However, experts believe that only Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) [the former branch of the al-Qaeda in Syria] has the means to strike positions deep inside the government-held areas.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) struck several terrorist positions in northern Hama following the attack. However, a heavier response is expected in the upcoming few hours.

Putin is in Jew pockets and Russia is weak. It got involved in Syria without an endgame plan, just like their only other previous foreign intervention disaster in Afghanistan circa 1979.
