On January 18th, the Libyan National Army’s (LNA) spokesperson Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Mesmari gave a press briefing on the position of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar’s forces towards the conflict in the country, as well future plans.

The LNA spokesman confirmed that the General Command will not accept compromising the sovereignty and aspirations of the Libyan people.

Al-Mismari stressed in a press conference “the complete readiness of the general leadership to deal with developments on the Libyan scene, whether peaceful or military in nature.”

“The Libyan forces are fully committed to the ceasefire, but mercenaries and Turkish officers have landed in the country, in clear violation of the ceasefire,” Al-Mismari added.

The LNA spokesperson further confirmed earlier reports that Turkey has installed air defense systems at Mitiga Airport in Tripoli.

Al-Mesmari explained that it was angry crowds shut down oil fields and ports to convey their voice to the international community. This is an action agreed upon by the tribal councils. Our only mission in this is obedience to the will of the Libyan people.

All oil ports in the country, apart from that of Zuaitina are closed.

The LNA High Command appreciates the efforts of allies who helped stop the shelling in the western military region.

Finally, al-Mesmari warned that Turkish troops “would end on the beaches of Tripoli.”

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said that, in their meeting, Haftar had agreed with all of Greece’s positions, including the need to recognize that the memoranda signed by Turkey & Sarraj government were illegal and invalid.

On the side of the UN-assigned Government of National Accord (GNA), Turkey’s propaganda campaign continues, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan making claims that Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar wishes to consolidate power for himself, despite him repeatedly proving that he fights on behalf of the democratically elected House of Representatives.

“To leave Libya at the mercy of a warlord would be a mistake of historic proportions,” the Turkish president claimed. “The road to peace in Libya goes through Turkey. Turkey will train Libyan security forces and help them fight terrorism and human trafficking. Europe will face new challenges and threats if the legitimate government of Libya falls.”

He further claimed that Haftar “is not a reliable man,” because LNA allegedly continued bombing Tripoli on January 17th. He failed to mention that GNA-aligned militias continued shelling LNA positions, as well.

Turkish Special Forces reportedly arrived in Tripoli to protect the GNA officials.

As one war of plunder is slowly ending in Syria, a rejuvenated war of plunder is simmering in Libya.

Both of these wars of choice have been initiated and willingly supported by NATO nations under the battered US umbrella of exporting ‘American Democratic Values and the Right to Protect (civilians)’.

The results of ALL such US wars have in fact been the murder, maiming and displacement of hundreds of millions of mostly poor people all around the globe

It’s not our fault! The US only kills people that want to sell their oil in something other than US dollars, or want to have a gold-backed currency and their own central bank. Those terroristic actions are an existential threat to ‘American Democratic Values’. We not only have the right, but the duty to protect foreign little people from the horrors of economic tyranny brought about by non-USD oil and gold-backed currency.

It’s for their own good. They’ll thank us, someday. At least the ones that survive freedomization..

Ah, I understand now.

The USA, the Land of the Free, apart from the largest per capita % of convicts in the world. The USA, the land of prosperity, apart from the majority of Americans who live pay cheque to pay cheque. The USA, the Land of Democratic Politics , apart from the circus we see today.

That’s why we keep saying “God bless America” – we need some divine blessings down here in Clown Town real bad and still haven’t gotten any. It almost seems like God doesn’t want to have anything to do with the USA – like we’re some kind of psycho ex-girlfriend. Our phone calls don’t get through – I think he has our number blocked. He never replies to our texts or emails. I know he has us blocked on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Whenever anyone asks him about the U.S., he acts all confused and pretends not to know who we are. Did I mention the restraining order? What’s up with that?

” like we’re some kind of psycho ex-girlfriend.”

That’s a great analogy, Pave Way IV. :)

I liked “Freedomization” (TM PW4)

I meant to say Freedomization®

So Erdogan wants to help Libyan’s fight terrorism by sending them more terrorists! Not quite sure how that’s going to work out.

It seems the Turkish admin are giving the host more of the virus that is killing it, in the hope it will survive.

Still, there’s always the oil.
