The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Forces and pro-government tribal forces are now deployed only about 10km away from the border with the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor.
Earlier today, the SAA and tribal forces liberated the villages of Nuzayzah and Rajm Sulayman east of Sabkhawi and isloated the ISIS-held villages of Sabkhah and Ghanim Ali from the southern direction. With this move, government forces eased the storm of the aforementioned villages and got control over one of the few useful roads in the area.
SAA in Deir Ezzor should try make some advances North towards SAA Tiger force or try to link with Deir Ezzor Air port, just to keep the ISIS busy and engage ISIS units in around Deir Ezzor and prevent deployment those unit against the SAA Tiger Force, which eventually will speedup Tiger FOrce the advances towards the Deir Ezzor
I am sure they will when the time is right. To break out now with guns blazing might well be the Hollywood tactics but in the real world ISIS still have the advantage in Deir Ezzor.
I exactly thouht the same. No Hollywood action now. The advantage of acting is on our side.
i read on AMN that SAA just wiped out a very big juicy isis command center in dez, so it should make SAA lives and offensives much easier there now :))
I do hope that a few US Coalition advisers/contractors were amongst the dead.
Same lol and CIA and mos sad and saudi
SAA in Der Ezzor should stay put, man the walls and not let ISIL land a lucky punch now that final liberation is weeks away. No Rambo style – Charge of the Light Brigade nonsense is needed. Just solid defense and very soon the referee will announce the end of the match…
I agree with both schools of thought; it’s the timing that counts. It might be better to co-ordinate attacks on the besieging forces to destroy them, rather than just trying to link, when that will happen anyway.
The SAA in Deir Ezzor has been trying to make advances towards the airport enclave for half a year now. Without much success. The only thing they should be doing is man the fort and not let a single ISIS attack gain a single meter. Relief may be closer now then ever before, but now is not the time to get cocky.
They clear a paths every time when ISIS builds up in the area and let ISIS know they can’t control the area. The thing is ISIS still tries to block it and fails all the time since the Guards go back to their defenses after clearing the area.
they just wiped out a big juicy isis command center in DeZ, so things should be easier now :)))
Southfront is full of reports that say the SAA, SyAF and RuAF wiped out some big ISIS, or Al Nusra, or any of the other Shams command centers. Doesn’t seem to be resulting in much gains for the SAA.
Claims in war are always overstated. Damage is always more total or complete then it actually is, there always way more enemy soldiers reported KIA or WIA then there actually are. Best not to take any chances and fort up. Relief is finally on the way so its best not to muck up at the last moments.
This was on AMN I didn’t see it on south front but yea ur right
The Republican Guards in Deir Ez zoir gives ISIS a bloody nose everyday now while it conducts the sorties to keep them on their toes and lets ISIS know they can attack still, plus its a good morale booster.
and i read on AMN that SAA wiped out a very high tech important isis command center in DeZ with alot of high ranking commanders, so now SAA offensives there should be much easier :)))

Steady now boys, Nice and slow, consolidate and then push on.
No time for nice and slow. The ISUS road net is shot to hell ! Now time to push the DAESH skumbags to their breaking point ! GO TIGERS GO !! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/891e929023165434e107503c7242adab16412632a94090f58610e3ea8e81df4e.jpg
All good stuff. Can’t wait to see Daesh-bag heads on poles.
YEs, BUT, the Yanks don’t know how to handle strategy and patience. It is almost funny to watch.
“Just win, baby” – Al Davis :))))
The SAA in Deir Azur should wait until relief forces are only 2 to 3 km away then launch a large attack as ISIS will be outflanked by advancing SAA forces who should try to encircle those ISIS forces surrounding Deri Azur not just punch through. This will be the time to try to eliminate as many ISIS / Israel fighters as possible if this can be done as ISIS will be attacked from the front and rear at the same time.
