In the afternoon of August 10, Syria’s elite Tiger Forces shot down an armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the northern Hama countryside.
Sources close to the Tiger Forces said that the UAV was downed over the newly-liberated town of Jaysat with heavy machine guns.
The Abkhazian Network News Agency (ANNA) released photos of the downed UAV, which appears to be identical to the ones usually used by Idlib’s militants. The UAV was armed with a new type of DIY small-diameter projectiles.
Last week, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) shot down a small suicide UAV that attempted to strike one of its positions in northern Hama.
The militants’ intense use of these ineffective locally-made UAVs reflects their desperation following the recent SAA gains in northern Hama.
Erdogan is loosing USA and Syrian terrorism.
