Tochka-U Missile Reportedly Targeted Kurdish-controlled Area in Northwestern Syria

Support SouthFront

The Soviet tactical ballistic missile, Tochka-U, targeted the Kurdish-controlled areas in northwestern Syria on November 13, according to some pro-Kurdish sources.

The missile reported targeted the Syrian-Turkish bordercrossing near the village of Gazawiya, killing 8 and wounding up to 50 persons.

There recently released video and photos show the vestiges of Soviet-made Tochka-U tactical ballistic missile as a “proof” that it was the missile strike.

Other sources in the Afrin canton argue that the damage was caused by air strikes by an unknown warplane.

There is no information about the missile’s launch site. There is no video or photo evidence of the incident.

Photos of the missile that allegedly targeted the area:

Kiev used these missiles on the people of Eastern Ukraine. So who supplied this missile? Was it the same as those that were giving Kiev a helping hand?

Ronald

Obviously a dud the did not go off . The implication seems to be that as it was Russian made , it was therefore fired by Russians . The oil tanker truck in the first photo , might be a clue as to what this is all about .

Is the missile number, ZH 724A – N88155 made by ANHA?

I wonder where that can be traced back to? There is so much old Soviet Weaponry around, used by the same players. Russia moved on, but no doubt, the propaganda machine will not bother with little facts like that?

Don’t buy into this shitty story, it’s staged… look at the surroundings does it appear like some explosive attack just occurred ? Look at the warhead cap supposed to have held the explosive charge, does it appear to you as if it actually exploded ? The wires and the fuse mechanism are still shiny intact. And yes you can track the ANHA (one of the many Kurdish separatist “news agency”) to find who actually staged the hoax. They called it an airstrike but all they found to sell their story is a tanker truck burning and some maimed scraps of an undetonated soviet era surface-to-surface ballistic missile that could be found anywhere in the world. Remember this is firstly and mostly a war of information !

AMHants

That is where I am coming from, who staged it? Who does it benefit and what is there agenda?

Mahmoud Larfi

Give me a spare tanker truck, some missile debris marked with Cyrillic alphabets, a box of matches and I’ll provide you with the story of how the soviets bombed my peaceful neighborhood.

Mahmoud Larfi

Note to SouthFront: When it looks like an obvious propaganda staged work please report it to your readers as such…
