The confrontation between Ukraine and the collective West behind it against Russia was not limited only to what happens on the battlefield from the very beginning.
Disinformation in the media, hacker attacks, data theft – these and many other methods of Hybrid War had been used by the Kyiv regime long before the direct combat in February 2022. However, with its start the tools Zelensky’s team uses for unscrewing nuts from the foundations of the Russian state gradually became more sophisticated, more “dirty” and terroristic. This is mainly due to the lack of military successes.
Having suffered another major military defeat during the fall counter-offensive, which only resulted in an increased number of casualties of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Zelensky has to reconsider his tactics towards a wider use of non-standard methods of warfare. The truth is that the search for a solution how to sway the situation inside Russia and win it outside the battleground began to resemble more the hysteria of the failed “savior of Ukraine” as his methods of struggle have reached a moral low point.
The moment for shaking Russia up is more than appropriate – the upcoming presidential elections. Vladimir Putin has already made the decision to run for re-election in March 2024. This means he will highly likely win and remaining Russia’s president up to 2030, as the majority of Russians support him. At the same time, the West needs a person in the country’s top leadership with whom they can negotiate on terms beneficial to anyone, but not Russia.
Putin’s political longevity worries Washington and Brussels. No less worrying is Kyiv, which is deprived of any independence in decision-making, but understands that the future of Ukraine as a part of the European Union is quite illusory as long as there is a strong neighbor with healthy ambitions beside.
Hence, the desire to provoke unrest to low the ratings of the head of state.
According to Russian security services and Zelensky’s opposition’s Telegram channel, Ukrainian nationalists have intensified their efforts to call on Russian citizens to commit terrorist acts on Russian territory: setting fire to military registration and enlistment offices, blowing up bridges and railways and other socially dangerous acts. As a rule, attackers operate through social networks, creating closed communities or giving instructions to the perpetrators directly.
One of the banned Telegram channels recently appeared in Udmurtia. In just a few days about 300 people subscribed to it. The authors called for disrupting the work of the local defense enterprise. Workers were recommended to quit, and those who would not do so were threatened with reprisals. In particular, Telegram posts contained photos of an improvised explosive device, which the “people’s avengers” allegedly had already attached to the car of an unsuspecting plant employee.

One of the common tasks for minors is damaging railway infrastructure – burn a transformer, relay cabinet or damage railway tracks. First time such sabotage committed by schoolchildren was recorded in December 2022 in Penza. Then the same thing happened in Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Kaliningrad, Bryansk, Kaluga and Moscow regions.
Why is this necessary? It is not difficult to imagine that the mass detention of children by Russian security forces will cause a wave of discontent that can be successfully fueled from the outside.
This is a direct violation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989 regarding the inadmissibility of involving persons under 15 years of age in direct participation in hostilities – in fact, it is exactly the same as taking part in the war effort. By violating it, Ukraine confirms its status as a “terrorist state”.
However, what can we expect from the political regime, with whose tacit consent, or maybe even by direct order, Ukrainian children find themselves on the line of military contact.

First, they are trained in special camps, training and educational centers like the “Gaidamatska Sich” in Lvov. There, teenagers, mostly – orphans, are dressed in the uniform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, given weapons, and taught to hate everything Russian. They train with officers of the national battalions. And then we find “soldiers” who are barely even 18 years old among the surrendered Ukrainians.
Perhaps they were counting on their weak instinct of self-preservation, or on the fact that a normal man would not fight against children. In any case, this is the moral “bottom” of the Kyiv regime and, it seems, there is nowhere to go lower.

wouldn’t it make more sense to contact “russian children” in russian, rather than ukrainian, as shown on the screen? if this actually happens (which is doubtful), russia should think very hard why youngsters would do such things for a foreign country.
