Former US President Donald Trump isn’t going anywhere and in recent days there have been talks that he’s forming his own “Patriot Party”.
Unnamed sources in Trump’s circle told the Washington Post that he will “drain the swamp” and will start with the Republicans who antagonized him. He apparently has a $70 million war chest for the purpose.
The same sources claimed the threat is intended to give him leverage to put pressure on Republican Senators to vote against convicting him in his impeachment trial in February.
Behind closed doors at Mar-a-Lago, Trump is reportedly instructing aides to prepare primary challenges against Republicans who opposed his claims of election fraud, or voted in the House to impeach him over his role in the deadly January 6 Capitol riots.
Trump made his first public comments since leaving office over the January 23-24th weekend, promising he would make a comeback in some form.
“We’ll do something, but not just yet,” Trump told journalist Rob Crilly from the Washington Examiner.
Regarding what that “something” is, one of his key advisers Jason Miller revealed in a podcast interview with Carrie Sheffield from Just the News that Trump was focused on election integrity.

Trump intended to help Republicans win back the House and Senate in 2022 “to make sure that we can stop the Democratic craziness”, and that “you’re also going to see him emerge as the nation’s leader on ballot and voting integrity,” Miller said.
Outgoing Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blamed Trump for instigating the Capitol riot on Jan. 6 that left five people dead.
“The mob was fed lies,” the Republican leader said on the Senate floor. “They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.”
Trump’s list also allegedly includes Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney, the number three Republican in the House, who led a group of 10 colleagues in voting with Democrats for impeachment, and South Carolina Representative Tom Rice.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is also reportedly on the list after refusing to back his challenge to the state’s election results; while Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski is on Trump’s list after she declared she was open to convicting him in the impeachment trial.
Google searches for “Patriot Party” have soared in recent days, with more interest in the term than the “Republican Party” or the “Democratic Party”
But Patriot Party is already a registered trademark and one which is not held under the name Donald Trump.
Analysis of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office shows that rights to the name are held by another Florida-based individual named Donald: Donald Magyar.
Donald Magyar is named as the founder of the Patriot Party website. A mission statement on the site says the group hopes to “break the political stranglehold of the Democrats and Republicans by replacing them with Patriots at all levels of government.”
How that will work out, time will tell.

A proportional party election . America introduced thay system to Germany after the 2nd WW to prevent another Hitler. A number of countries around the world have variations of that which means smaller parties get a voice and large parties have to consider a wider view .
If Trump does that it will only guarantee another democrat win. It will also prove that he is just doing his part in this charade.

The patriot party allows Trump to accept political donations. It’s a revenue stream … nothing more. He owes $390B to Deutsche bank alone and the corona virus has resulted in 60% less less business for his resort properties say nothing of his tax problems. He needs cash flow desperately.

AIPAC lost the last election, the “”whiz kids””” from Silicon Valley won. Trump’s ineptitude in dealing with national and international problems (something his lawyers could not help with) his lack of basic knowledge ….like “ on whose side did US fight for during WW1”, always bringing his self interests and narcissistic tendencies into every decision, loosing the trade war with China, showing the world his baffoonery, allowed the EU to bet the future on China, and sign a comprehensive trade agreement.
How did AIPAC lose. Biden is in their pocket as well. Obama hated Netanbooboo but still gave him everything he wanted. Pelosi runs orgies to support AIPAC. AIPAC’s motto is never have an election unless you own both sides.
AIPAC sided with Trump, and Trump lost. Trump was by far more pro Israeli than Obama and Biden. Biden is supported by the media, Wall Street and Silicon Valley billionaires.
As AIPAC said before the election , Biden has never voted against Israel and has always voted in favor of Israel. .Any person standing for office in America must agree with Israel or they will disrupt his meetings , get obnoxious stories about him in the media and pour money into a candidate standing against him that is for Israel. Doesn’t matter if Trump is rabid pro Israel or Biden is pro Israel , the end result is Israel gets what it wants either way.

They can do this with a minority vote if Trump takes even 20% of the Republican vote . America is a two party country where third parties hardly register . When was the last time you heard a speech by the leaders of the America Green Party or Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party. Well they are the next biggest parties in America.

Proportional party representation would be better where now no third party has a chance of anything. . It seems that the two party system is controlled by money and much like the end of the Roman Empire seats are purchased and controlled by the banks and the powerful industries. Actually the Chinese system would be better as the American one is so corrupted and controlled I think it is beyond redemption. In China the best people are chosen to be in government, No voting in by people Bribed with goodies promised by but never delivered just so one can get elected. The ones in the Chinese government either do a good job in the interests of the country and people or get sacked. The people are not interested in voting and are happy as long as the government is doing a good job. This way allows the government to set long term goals and strategies and achieve the best result in a long time unified approach. Most senators are millionaires . Corruption is rife and it has nothing to do with democracy despite how much the people are led to believe.

Look to Europe for examples. To your second point, authoritarian governments always are more efficient and react more quickly to issues and problems. The threat of death, torture, or imprisonment always helps with that .
It will be good to punish the sell out RINO types and maybe cost them their careers, but ultimately it won’t achieve anything. Disintegration of the USA is inevitable.
