17 Turkish warplanes and 8 frigates took part in the “High Seas Exercises” off the Libyan coast, the Turkish Armed Forces announced.
“During the 8-hour mission extending nearly 1050 NM (2000 km) away from Turkish territorial waters, command and control procedures were practised, exercises that included in-flight refuelling, joint naval-air operations were conducted and the maritime and air picture was built and shared,” the defence ministry said.

The Turkish drills took place as the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord and Syrian militant groups supported by Turkey are preparing to storm the Libyan port city of Sirte, which is in the hands of the Libyan National Army.

No divine intervention needed, the Arab militaries are totally useless with no history of nationalism or pride, they will NOT FIGHT TURKEY as I wrote months ago. Egyptians can not implement combined arms operations over a battalion level, let alone mobilize mobile SAM and forward tactical airbases in the deserts to fight Turkey, which controls all the developed infrastructure on the coast now. Turkish AWACS linked to NATO surveillance satellites monitor Egyptian airspace anyway.

Turkey shares border and history with Russia, which today can not afford to have another NATO enemy on its Southern Flank. Arabs don’t rate very high in Russian thinking due to bad experience during USSR era. Russians want at least a neutral Turkey, they tested the waters with Haftar, but he proved to be a useless cunt, so they would rather stick with Turkey and so has Iran. The Arabs disunity and pathetic military performance would put anyone to shame. BTW, on paper the Egyptian cunts have far superior weaponry that Turkey, but their pilots are useless and 70% of the equipment is in pathetic shape. On top of that there is a full scale war going on in Sinai and the Bedouins linked with alCIAda want an independent state. That does not look good for the dumbass Sisi whose military is in no condition to fight the second largest army in NATO. Turkey is following the Americunt textbook in draining Libya of all its oil and same goes for Syria. It is sad but true.

I don’t believe so. Russia tested the waters, but UAE and Egyptians proved to be complete cunts and cowards. Kremlin decision based on accurate GRU ground reports if you read Russian media, sealed the LNA fate. On top of that the LNA conducted a lot of mass killings of civilians, so the Wagner Group was pulled out. Now personally, based on operational and logistical analysis, unless Russia directly gets involved the LNA and Egypt are fucked. The Turks are in a position now to exert a lot of pressure on the cunt Sisi for overthrowing the Muslim Brotherhood elected government. Dr. Morsi was very popular in Egypt and the region as he was about to open the Rafaz crossing and normalize relations with Iran.

In Libya there is a war between Egypt ( north african/arab power) and Turkey ( Ottoman dream)..it is to say Al Sisi vs Erdogan!….Egypt have failed to conquer Tripoli and is satisfied with maintaining the east and the south as well as oil/gas fields and export ports ( Ras Lanuf)…but Turkey wants to play another card..it is to defeat Al Sisi and his fake army ( like all Arab armies)…it would be possible if Turkey deploy F-16 in Misrata to prevent airstrikes of the LNA/Egypt air force!…all can change if Greece and Russia military support Egypt…but Russian Oligarchy ( especially the etnic Turquic) have strong economic interests in Turkey and Greece lives on summer tourism..therefore a war in the central Mediaterranean doesnt suit them!…anyway I dont Rule that Russian military staff decide to separate both contendients deploying forces in Sirte ( S-400, Special forces, Wagner PMC on ground) and Russian Navy ( Kalibr cruise missile) on sea near Libyan coast!
Actually, to get the Turkeys out of Libya is far easier as their supply lines are extended and largely dependent on an airbridge, if the LNA or whoever is fighting them are provided with effective layered SAM network and a few SSM, they are kaput. Libya is a big empty country and the Turkeys would have to bring in their own cannon fodder to control beyond the 80 kms wide coastal strip that has 90% of the population. The Germans and Rommel faced the same problem. Russia if it wanted to can turn the tables in a few days.

The Turks may be preparing for an amphibious landing on the coast, east of Sirte. They’ll be a fairly open place where they would attempt to land, maybe within a mile or two of Sirte, straight to the target with minimal interference.
