On August 10th, a convoy of approximately 70 vehicles was spotted moving from the direction of Benghazi towards Sirte in Libya.

Around the same area, there was a S-300 allegedly moving in an unclear direction, and it is without a missile mounted.

Aguila Saleh Issa, the President of the Libyan House of Representatives, on the side of Field Marshal Khalifa’s Libyan National Army (LNA) said that Turkey was incapable of entering Sirte.

And he further added that Ankara was aware it was fighting a lost war in Libya.

The LNA also said that it destroyed a boat filled with gunmen that attempt to bypass the EEZ in the center of the country, in the waters west of Benghazi.

There are no clashes, apart from a situation in which a significant crossroad went under LNA control without any apparent fighting.

However, the GNA denied the reports saying there was no LNA presence at all.

The situation is still brewing, and Turkey appears to be hard at work on the diplomatic front, as it said that its agreements with the Government of National Accord (GNA) were still holding and being carried out, but it is also negotiating with Egypt and conditions may change if Ankara and Cairo reach an agreement. It also said it was in discussions with Lebanon.
