Turkey has supplied Ukraine with dozens of TRLG-230 precision-guided missiles, The Middle East Eye reported on November 23, citing two sources familiar with the issue.
The TRLG-230, which was developed by Turkey’s defense contractor Roketsan, is guided by a GPS-aided inertial navigation systems and a semi-active laser seeker. The artillery missile has a range of 20-70 kilometers and carries a high-explosive warhead that weights 42 kg.
The Middle East Eye said that around 50 TRLG-230 missiles were shipped to Ukraine in the early summer. One source told the news outlet that as many as 200 missiles could have been shipped, so far.
TRLG-230 missile can be launched from Roketsan MCL [Multi-Caliber Launcher] system and other platforms with compatible interfaces.
Undated footage surfaced on Ukrainian social media on November 22 allegedly showing a TRLG-230 missile being fired at Russian military targets in Ukraine, from what appears to be a MCL system.
The TRLG-230 missile flexible laser guidance system allows it to hit ground targets from a long distance with an accuracy of two meters. The target can be illuminated from the ground by an infantry-held or a vehicle-mounted laser marker, or from the air by some drones like the Baykar Bayraktar TB2. Turkey supplied dozens of drones of this type to Ukraine over the last two years.
Turkey didn’t not halt military cooperation with Ukraine after the beginning of the Russian special military operation in the country. However, unlike other NATO states, Turkish military support is mostly not free of charge. Despite this support, Ankara has so far maintained close relations with Moscow.

But why is Russia’s conduct in Ukraine more cautious towards civilian casualties? Which of these two countries have been a bigger war for Russia? It also seems Russia is protecting the PKK in Syria. In that case, Turkey did the right thing. Putin can either stop supporting the PKK or increase its support and risk facing more deadly Turkish weapons in Ukriane. His choice.

So it hurts for Turkey to just sell weapons but it doesn’t hurt for Russia to kill hundreds of thousands of civilians in Syria. Russia has the blood of innocent Syrian Muslims on its hands whether you admit it or not. If it is true that Turkey did supply this weapon, then it could be because of Russia’s protection or even arming of the Kurds.

Why isn’t Russia disarming those Kurds? They can clearly do that since America is no longer protecting those Kurdish forces mixed up with Russian and Syrian soldiers. Why are Assad’s forces being killed instead of the Iranians, Hezbollah, or even Americans? That’s because they are in close coordination with the PKK.
