Turkey: US Troops Should Wear ISIS Patches on Their Uniform

Turkey is furious that US special forces troops spearheading the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria are wearing YPG/YPJ patches on their uniforms that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu suggested on May 27 that US troops add ISIS flags to their sleeves next.

“Our advice for the U.S. is that they should wear DAESH, al-Nusra, and al-Qaeda insignias when they go to other places in Syria and should wear Boko Haram insignias in Africa,” Cavusoglu said, adding that US troops are wearing “the insignia of a terrorist organization, which is responsible for the last two terrorist attacks in Ankara.”

Turkey argues the Kurdish People’s Protection Unit (YPG) is an armed wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which both Turkey and the US have labeled as a terrorist organization. Howver, the United States supports the YPG and a YPG-led brand of the SDF, claiming the only chance to get a loyal local force on the ground in Syria.

If U.S. forces has ISIS flags upon their sleeves, then you could be certain Erdogan would be tending to their every wanton need. (bending over backwards to do deals)

Actually, this is a good idea, as America has been covertly arming and backing the ISIS terrorists as a proxy force to attack and destroy Syria.

So if the American stormtroopers were wearing the insignia of the ISIS terrorists at least they would be honest about which side they are really on.
