Turkey’s National Defense Minister said that Ankara has taken all measures against any possible hostile moves or threats, referring to the recent threats made by the Libyan National Army (LNA).
“The price of hostile attitudes or attacks will be heavy, they will be responded with the most efficient and hard manner,” Hulusi Akar told Anadolu Agency in Osaka city of Japan on June 30.
Ahmed al-Mismari, a spokesman for the LNA, announced two days earlier that the army is imposing a ban on any commercial flights from Libya to Turkey and Turkish ships from docking in the country. The spokesman added that all Turkish assets and interests in the country are considered legitimate targets for the army.
The LNA’s threats were a response to a Turkish-backed attack that allowed forces loyal to the Government of National Accord (GNA) to impose control of Garyan, south of the country’s capital, Tripoli. The army accused Turkish-backed forces of massacring 40 injured soldiers who were trapped inside the town’s hospital.

In his interview with the Anadolu Agency, Akar said that Turkey is focusing on Libya’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, people’s peace and happiness and the national consensus spirit in the country; however, it would not turn a blind eye towards threats.
While the size of the Turkish involvement in the attack on Garyan remains unclear, it has been confirmed that Ankara is actively supporting and arming GNA forces.

It was because of the courage of Anatolian people that they have beaten Italy, France, Britain and Greece out of their country. Turks are known for their fighter spirit, like they were praised in the Korean war. Sovjets gave weapons didnt fight beside Turks. Britain, France and Italy were real heavy Powers to this Time and Turks fought with them at once.
In the Greco-Turkish War of1919–1922Greece had financial support from the UK (not on the ground) and that was only until there was a change of goverment that the UK didnt like, so thats when they stop supporting Greece. The new goverment got King Constantine back who was against the UK and a friend of Germany…he changed the army officers (kinda like what Erdogan has done after the coup in Turkey, but without putting anyone in jail) … Italy was neutral in this in the begining but then they helped Turkey. The Turkish forces, on the other hand, were recipients of significant assistance from Soviet Russia. On 29 April (1922) , the Soviet authorities supplied the Turkish consul critical quantities of arms and ammunition, sufficient for three Turkish divisions. On 3 May, the Soviet government handed over 33,500,000 gold rubles to Turkey—the balance of the credit of 10,000,000 gold rubles.
