According to Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus, Turkey has no right to “impose any decision” to Syrian people.
Turkey’s policy towards the Syrian Arab Republic contained grave mistakes and should be changed, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus said in an interview with the Turkish Hurriyet newspaper.
“It is not right for us to impose any decision” to Syrian people, Kurtulmus told Hurriyet.
At the same time, the Turkish Prime Minister also noted that his country would not take the side of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and added that only Syrian people would take a decision about its future.
He also stressed that Turkey would be a guarantor of decisions made during a new round of Syrian peace talks.
A little over two months ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the Turkish Armed Forces launched its military operation on the territory of Syria in order “to end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad.” In this light, the last statements of the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister indicate changes in Turkey’s policy towards Syria.
Dont pay attention to Erdogan statements.3 weeks ago he said that Al Bab operation is almost finished.Anyway there is change in the Turkish policy.
Just that this statement was made by the Deputy PM , is a possible indication that Erdogan may have attained a touch of humbleness . This would be very good for Turkey .
The same official is saying Turkey is about to consider pulling out of Astana peace talks because of action against Towns of Wadi Barada and East Ghouta, I was surprised to read this good news article, maybe I made a mistake.
Hrumf.
Well, so far so good. I can only speculate what is it that made this come true, but still, the Turks have to show, not tell us anything, since we dont trust You for an split second, and to then try to back track from previous “collaborations” with ISIS, where corruption was so blatant one can only speculate on how that was possible, to whine about Wankees is a bit to convenient when the Turks have omitted grave sins against the Syrian people.
Oil is the Key word, and dont further humiliate us all with nonsense until its an fact on the ground.
To forgive, I leave that to the Syrian people, and if the shift in the geopolitics is an process that is ongoing, the realignments from the Imperial banana republic is genuine, I hope of course for the best for the Turkish people, but never forget the treason committed. WE will never do that, only an unconditional truth telling is the only thing I want, and repent.
Never ever trust the Wankees again, never. They are the force of evil, their minions rule under their radar, and an MSM whom never talks about the truth, and should be left alone, shameless murderers of lands and people. Like little Norway, where the censure is total, and have soldiers even in Africa, where they gard the state that the French couped, thru the use of ISIS yeah, dead silent, and Yemen, the nightmare continues, and nobody cares, other than drooling something about Houtis whom fights the ISIS, on top of it Killed by the so called alliance, and the Brits is happy slaughtering even children but somehow the Yemenis children aren’t worth shit, not even an news snipplets apart from been about the “bad” Houtis. Yeah and why dont we talk about Boko Haram, the Clintonites love child in Africa, protected and armed by the west, to take Africa. huh
I could go on for hours.
I wish I could state that this is over, but the next weeks will do that, and I hope the Turks this time stands by their own words, then maybe, we can build up whats been lost.
peace
Words are cheap, deeds and facts on the ground tell the truth. Turkey has been promising for 42 years to “settle the Cyprus problem ” (i.e their invasion and occupation of northern Cyprus in 1974) but are still there. Don’t expect a 180 degree change in the invasion of northern Syria, they intend to stay. Ditto their 5 bases in Iraq.
Erdogan is as much of a tyrant as Assad is !
