Turkish and Kurdish protestors clashed at Hannover Airport in Germany on January 22. According to repots, the clash involved up to 180 people. The violence erupted over the issue of the ongoing Turksih military operation against Kurdish YPG/YPJ forces in Syria’s Afrin.

Is there a reason for protestors to be inside an airport? Were they expecting someone important to arrive? Generally, the only people in an airport are travelers.
