The Turkish government prefers to fight Kurds instead of ISIS
Today, the Turkish Army and police have entered the Kurdish city of Silvan in southeastern Turkey.
Intensive gunfire and heavy artillery are rocking the city. Helicopters and armored vehicles have reportedly been deployed in at least three of the city’s neighborhoods.
We remember, Silvan (population 43,000) was the point of clashes between Turkish forces and members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in August 2015.
