The Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) continued their offensive in northern al-Hasakah on November 14, capturing yet another town.
According to opposition sources, Turkish-backed militants entered the town of al-Arisha, northwest of the town of Tell Tamr, following heavy clashes with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Zaitun, a pro-SNA media agency, released a short video showing Turkish-backed militants deploying inside the newly-captured town.
The SNA resumed its military operations in northeast Syria last week after accusing The SDF of violating the recent agreement between Moscow and Ankara. The agreement implicates that Kurdish fighters should withdraw at least 30 km away from the border line with Turkey.
The SDF launched on November 13 a counter-attack in northern al-Hasakah in an attempt to stop the SNA. However, the counter-attack was apparently a failure.
