On December 16, the Turkish-backed coalition of militant groups, the National Front for Liberation, claimed that its members had killed and wounded a number of Russian Speial Forces operators in the area of Khalsa in the southern countryside of Aleppo city.
The group provided no visual evidence to confirm these claims. Therefore, this statement was likely an ordinary example of pro-militant propaganda that so popular in mainstream media outlets. Militant groups surrounded in Greater Idlib are making every possible effort to demonstrate that they are a capable and powerful force that can repel attacks by “evil Russians”. In recent months, reports claiming that “rebels” repelled another attack by Russian Special Forces became especially popular in pro-militant media outlets.
Agree …. Russian special forges reports are more popular today as last school/hospital reports – but their time comes I believe – lot of last school/hospital/bakery reports expecting when liberation begins :P

Yes they claimed they broke the Astana enforced ceasefire Putin and Erdogan introduced, by attacking the very same people who saved their asses with that ceasefire, talk about biting the hand that feeds you. What the hell’s going on, the SNA and NFL are both attacking the SAA in Latakia now which is usually the terrorists stronghold, the Turkish proxies don’t normally operate here, but not anymore it seems, HTS must be having a vacation and these boys are filling in for them. Now Assad will find it difficult to bomb the terrorists as easily as he did, with the terrorists and moderate opposition intermingled, that will be way more difficult now. Those precious moderate opposition many SF posters happily claim are helping the Turks get rid of the US/Kurdish problem, are all the way over in Latakia shooting at the SAA, with not one Kurd in sight, and the SAAF and SAA aren’t allowed to attack those precious moderates. As I keep saying, these Astana enforced ceasefires Putin and Erdogan come up with only ever suit the terrorists, they tie the SAA and SAAF’s hands behind their backs and give the terrorists the advantage, every single time. The Russians and SAAF just missed a Turkish convoy on one of their bombing runs, what a pity they didn’t hit the damn thing.
