The Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) released on January 30 and 31 several videos of its militants failing to hit equipment and personnel of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
The first video shows the group’s militants targeting a T-72 battle tank in the al-Sahafyeen complex in the northwestern outskirt of Aleppo city with a U.S.-made TOW ATGM. The missile, however, missed the tank and hit a barrier.
Another video shows NFL militants targeting a T-90 battle tank near the district of al-Rashidin in western Aleppo. The missile again hit a dirt barrier in the front of the tank.
In the third video, the militants can be seen attempting to target a gathering of Syrian troops in the area of al-Klariyah in western Aleppo. However, the missile ended up hitting a barrier.
The NFL is now actively supporting al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and other terrorist group against the SAA, mainly around Aleppo city.
Earlier in January, several reports claimed that the group received fresh ATGM supplies from Turkey. However, this has not been confirmed, so far.
SAA must also target Terrorists with tow ATGM
120 mm smooth bore from Russian T series with HE shrapnel munitions is much more effective and cheaper. The TOWS should be used on the terrorists land-cruisers, transports and fixed targets like bunkers.
Hard to complain about them missing ! Keep in mind, they’re young kids with minimum training. Maybe they’ll learn a trade in jail, and not have to sell themselves as mercenaries anymore.

While most of them are young extremists kids, there is plenty of international terrorists with much experience for CIA action across the globe.
That ATGM could have killed the personnel without hitting directly, though.
Yes, but that hardly exist here. A lot not even accept civiliens die unless they are given to their own beds with glue.
ATGM work most only on armor and are not anti-personnel munitions per se, but can be used to hit fixed non-armor targets like bunkers, homes and buildings, not a very cost effective use though, but still works.

The Syrian tank fleet is now upgraded and in very good mechanical and operational state. Syria had close to 4000 MBT, mostly T-55/62 and T-72, when the CIA and Turkeys unleashed Wahhabi terrorism on a peaceful neighbor in 2011.

As I have explained the new generation of ERA and electronic anti-ATGM suites make most of the Americunt and NATO supplied ATGM useless. Iran and Russia have taken apart every Zionist and NATO tank and come up with a totally new anti-armor measures. Most SAA T-72 have now been upgraded.
