Turkish-Backed Militants Target Syrian Army Vehicles, Positions With ATGMs In Support Of HTS (Videos)

Support SouthFront

The Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) targeted vehicles and positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) on May 22 in support for the successful Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) offensive on the town of Kafr Nabudah.

On May 23, the NFL released videos showing its fighters destroying two battle tanks and a BMP-1 Infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) of the army in the outskirt of Kafr Nabudah in northern Hama.

Two other videos show Turkish-backed militants targeting two positions of the SAA with ATGMs. Both missiles appear to have missed their targets.

The NFL heavy fire support allowed terrorists from HTS and other al-Qaeda-affiliated groups to capture Kafr Nabudah from the SAA.

HTS’ recent attacks on the SAA were all backed by the NFL, which is apparently receiving fresh supplies from Turkey. The Turkish-backed coalition use of ATGMs and Grad rockets intensified over the last two weeks.

Looks like the recent ‘massive’ operation of Russian air forces didn’t bother them

WinstonSmith

Russia: “We’re working with our Turkish partners to deescalate tensions in Idlib”. It’s pathetic really.

There hasn’t even been an actual development, like Turks leaving NATO and telling the US to shove the nukes they’d deployed in Turkey, it’s just Russia trying to sell. sell, sell Turkey S-400. Syria, meanwhile, has just sit back and get bombed, terrorised and targeted by NATO/Turkey’s al-Qaeda/ISIS allies in their ever-growing Idlib nest.

Sorry but nobody thought Turkey will ever leave NATO and tell USA to take back its nukes

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Putin did and still does.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

The fruits of Putin’s brilliant diplomatic skills, Erdogan’s boys are killing the SAA soldiers faster than ever, and also sending drones and rockets against the Russian air bases every single day. Putin sells Erdogan new weapons and Erdogan then gives his old crap to the rebels so they use them to kill SAA soldiers, and also try to kill Russian soldiers too, and some people tell me that makes sense from a geopolitical perspective.

Astrid Watanabe

“…….and some people tell me that makes sense from a geopolitical perspective” I am sure Putin has his reasons, but that does not mean it makes sense from a more universal perspective. Most of us here are rooting for Syria and Assad, so for us this is poison.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

From a moral perspective it makes no sense at all, this to me should be the overriding concern, ‘8 years of suffering with no end in sight’, that’s what I think we should all be talking about. I don’t know if most of us here support Assad or not, all the pro Putin Trolls try to howl anyone down if they make any sort of criticism of Putin’s strategy, tactics, and motivations, and SF is a pro Putin news source not really pro Assad or Syria, so I suspect most of us are rooting for Putin more than Assad, even though they’re supposed to be on the same team. If you think it’s poisonous now wait until resolution 2254 come into effect, which is supposedly 6 month after all hostilities end, so even when the fighting does finally stop, the war against Assad will still be ongoing politically. And both Iran and Russia are party to this new resolution, that’s the real poison, resolution 2254 and the new constitution that comes with it. Check out what it entails if you think us Assad supporters have had poisonous news so far, it’s about to get 100 times worse when the fighting does finally stop. Check out what resolution 2254 really means for Assad, and pay attention to the parties who will be involved in rewriting the Syrian constitution, pure poison, the new resolution 2254 makes the term ‘free and fair elections’ anything but free and fair. Poor Assad, if only he’d agreed to the Saudi proposal there would have been no war at all. I wonder if Assad sometimes regrets that decision, even though he made it for all the right reasons. And all those people who claim they understand Putin’s behaviour and attribute his actions to geopolitical interests and concerns, are also the same sort of people who stab their friends in the back and rob them when it suites them, or just desert their friends in their hours of need due to fear or favour, they just don’t understand the concept of loyalty and honor, and have no moral conscience’s or have any real emotions of guilt, they can understand the term Geopolitical concerns for those reasons, but I can’t. Poor Assad.
