The Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) supported a failed attack of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in northern Hama on June 27 by targeting vehicles and positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with guided missiles and Grad rockets.
The group released two videos showing its fighters destroying a van carrying several Syrian soldiers and a truck armed with a 57mm gun near the town of Tell Huwash in northern Hama with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
In a third attack, NFL fighters launched a barrage of Grad rockets at several positions of the SAA in the northwestern part of Hama.
These attacks are an example of the NFL strong cooperation with HTS, which was the main branch of al-Qaeda in Syria up until 2017. Despite this, Turkey is still supporting the group, according to local sources.

Russia’s role in Syria is air support and some spec ops support thats it they have no actual heavy unites or standard motorized rifle divisions deployed in Syria for that matter they only have naval infantry (Marines) deployed to protect the naval base and air base that is it.
They could have the nice TOS systems for protecting Latakia bases, Idlib is pretty close to that.
Tell me in what world wold a TOS-1A with a max range of 6km and a desinghed offensive/sige role be of use to a defensive detachment of Russian marines? You do realise that the TOS is operated by NBC troops not the marines right?
Russia gave Syria few of those and they fired over the area where the Russian plane was shot down and pilots killed.

Also no they did not Russia used Cruise missile strikes vs the FSA And the Syrian govt did not have the TOS-1A in 2015 and in 2018 feb they did not even come close to be in range of the TOS-1A. But Russia is not stupid their is a reason they have airdefenses in their bases (Tartus and Khmemim) they do not trust incompetant arab morons to watch over them.

This is happening due to the stupid Russia-Turkey agreement and the stupids ceasefire declared by SAA, and sooner or later the Russia airbasis will be effectively target by terrorists, supported by Turley (NATO member).

If the Turkish observation posts are getting hit by the SAA. And Turkey is indeed providing material military support to the terrorists. Rather than being a neutral peace keeping force providing humanitarian assistance only. As I’m assuming the that DMZ agreement required. Then they need to stop providing military support to the terrorists.
