Turkish-Backed Militants Violate Temporary Ceasefire, Attack Syrian Army Vehicles, Positions With Guided Missiles (Videos)

Support SouthFront

The Turkish-backed Syrian Front for Liberation (NFL) violated the temporary ceasefire around Idlib and carried out a series of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) attacks on the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) on May 18.

NFL fighters destroyed a battle tank, a truck and an MT-LB armored tracked vehicle of the SAA in the northwestern part of Hama.

In another attack, the Turkish-backed militants targeted a group of Syrian soldiers near the town of al-Hwaiz. However, the ATGM missed its target.

The NFL used Russian-made Kornet and US-made TOW ATGMs in its attacks. These missiles were likely supplied by Turkey. The Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) is known to be operating both systems.

Despite these attacks, the situation in northern Hama remains calm, with no response from the SAA. However, this situation could change in the upcoming few hours.

Again these morons together with America and Israel provoking war with Syrian army and their allies.

Taz T

Blame Russia for allowing Turkey to carve up Syria so they could sell S400 and other weapons to Turkey.

Promitheas Apollonious

you got it wrong. The russians do what they do with turkey because one of their gas pipe lines is passing via turkey. I dont think this arrangements will last much longer.

playah

Yes blame KSA /USA/ Turkey for the entire fiasco in Syria , none of them are invited

David Parker

Yes, it is obvious that Erdogan wants to seize northern Syria and call it his. Erdogan is waging war on the Syrian government, not only actively supportign ISIS but apparently commanding this new army of Muslim head-choppers, “Syrian Front for Liberation”. Turkey has no right whatever to be operating in Syria. I will be very happy when Syria gets on their feet and can defend their borders against such demons as Erdogan. I also wish the Kurds would wake up and make a deal with Assad to integrate into the SAA.

Mustafa Mehmet

Take it easy do care about your blood pressure .you gone bend down and do deal with kurdi traitor now. Once you get rid of.. PYG.. PKK terrorists away from our borders we got no problem with Syrian people .

Mike

Bullshit you stupid motherfucking Turkish rat, if you dumb fucks really didn’t want this Kurdish problem, then you shit for brain Turks should have minded your own business, and not have supported you islamist gang of cutthroats in operation destroy Syria. Only ones to blame for your stupid mess is yourselves, then again sub-human Turks are to stupid for critical self-analysis.

Mustafa Mehmet

stick is ready all vasellin up you can come and sit on it now

(ง ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)ง

Regime wants ceasefire after failed attempts to advance, now they blame Turkey for not keeping the ceasefire. the aggressor this time was Syria and Russia. Astana agreement was in place, but Syria abused it, so they should not cry about ceasefires.

Promitheas Apollonious

what russia and turkey agree between them about syria is not binding for the syrian people beside the fact that turkey is occupying syrian land and they either go back where they come from or buried where they stand.

playah

Turkey has been trying to carve out a new Ottoman empire and is no friend of Syria , why has so many jihadi come from Turkey ? The biggest enclave of terrorists are on Turkey border because they support them .

Sadri Salah

Idiot, it was the Turkish regime jihadists who contstantly broke the agreement, don’t make things up flathead.

Mike

Turkish scumbag.

klove and light

ohhhh iam soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo surprised–sarcasm out

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Ceasefire, what ceasefire, who’s abiding by the ceasefire, no one is. All the parties involved continually break the ceasefire arrangement that Russia, Turkey, and Iran all agreed upon. The Syrians break the ceasefire, the Russian’s break the ceasefire, the Turks break the ceasefire, and the rebels break the ceasefire, what’s the point of having a ceasefire agreement at all, especially since the Syrians didn’t want it and didn’t agree to it, and it serves no positive purpose at all from their perspective, and even worse still has only negative consequences. The Astana ceasefire arrangement has never really been in effect ever, and even if it was working properly it’d only really suit the purposes of the rebels, allowing them to continue an unwanted presence in northern Syria. So really it’s about as worthless as the paper it’s written on, I think it’s time for Assad and the Syrian government to denounce this arrangement for the complete farce that it is, and then also demand an end to this pandering to Erdogan and his rebels by both Putin and Iran. The Astana agreement has only ever suited the rebels, Turkey, Russia, and Iran, and at no time over the last 2 years or more has it ever once suited the Syrians even once, what sort of arrangement is that, it’s the sort of arrangement you have to throw in the rubbish bin, that’s what it is.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

not to worry, soon to be “dead turkish-backed militants” lmao
