On January 22 afternoon, a Turkish drone strike targeted the outskirts of the town of Kobane in Syria’s northeastern region.
According to the Hawar News Agency (ANHA), the strike targeted a house on the Mumet road south of Kobane. The town and its outskirts are under control of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
A civilian named Fahe Ali Shehada sustained minor wounds in his left leg as a result of the drone strike. He was quickly treated at a nearby hospital.

The ANHA released a photo from the strike scene showing what appears to be the seeker of a Turkish-made MAM-L, or C munition. Both small-diameter munitions are guided by semi-active laser.

These munitions, which are made by Turkey’s defense giant ROKETSAN, are the main armament of all Turkish combat drones, including the Bayrakdar TB2 and the TAI Anka.
Today’s strike on Kobane violates agreements Ankara signed in 2019 with Russia and the US. The strike, which didn’t have a clear target, was likely an attempt to provoke the SDF. Turkish forces have been harassing Kurdish fighters in northeastern Syria for a while now.
Is Turkey fighting a war of resolve now, this constant barrage is becoming intolerable and should be stopped, and I suspect if the Russians don’t do something to stop it soon, Biden will stop it for them, and that’s the last thing we want to see happen. This is what Russia did to help resolve the situation,
“At least 200 Russian military police reinforced their posts around Ayn Issa. Possibly more. More posts are also expected to be established, one source told”.
and this is how Turkey responded to Russia’s actions,
“Russia has also deployed more men to enter the buffer zone between the Turks and SDF. Meanwhile Turkey is establishing more bases in both northern Raqqa and Idlib”.
“SDF Field commander: “The Turkish forces shelled the Ain Issa district with hundreds of artillery and missile shells, in addition to the use of tanks and supported 3 large ground attacks in the eastern and western countryside of Ain Issa, which all failed”.
“Turkish forces and affiliated armed groups targeting Jahbal and Mesheirfa villages and M4_Highway of Ain _Issa, north of Raqqa, with mortars”.
“A civilian was wounded when a Turkish drone targeted the countryside of Ain Al-Arab, east of Aleppo”.
Let Turkey plummet the zio Kurds… then Syrian and Russian forces take over and force the turks out.
