A Turkish unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) carried out on January 12 an airstrike on the area held by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeast Syria.
According to the Hawar News Agency (ANHA), the airstrike targeted a building between the town of al-Qahtaniyah and the nearby village of Digire in the northeastern countryside of al-Hasakah.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) revealed that the targeted building is an ex-headquarters of the SDF. According to the monitoring group, several people were injured as a result of the airstrike. It’s unclear yet if any of them are SDF personnel.
This was the second Turkish drone strike on northeast Syria this week. Three days ago, a Turkish armed drone bombed a checkpoint of the SDF’s security forces in northern Raqqa, injuring at least two people.

Communist guerilla can’t stay out of Turkish border. Otherwise would lose political power to the peaceful Kurdish parties coalition ENKS.
